I think I'll wait for it to be on a better sale in a year or so.

Bundlestars has a new strategy bundle for €3.19 (no idea what the cost in dollars is):
Eador: Masters of the Broken World
Battle Group 2
Eador: Genesis
Supreme Commander Gold Edition
Jagged Alliance 1 Gold Edition
Creeper World 3: Arc Eternal
Planet Stronghold

I'd say Eador, Creeper World and Battle Group alone are well worth the price, those I already have. Never played Jagged Alliance 1, though I *loved* JA2. Planet Stronghold looks just ... weird.

SupCom alone is worth that price. Planet Stronghold is not worth anything. I know the android version is terrible. Getting access to the most basic things, like inventory or character stats, is pure frustration.

Kairo is on sale on Steam this week for 1 euro (or dollar, presumably). I absolutely love that game. I think it's even worth it at full price. If you like simple but beautiful graphics, eerie atmosphere, and puzzles which are well-designed and reasonably difficult without being frustrating, grab this one. I find it relaxing and calming after a long day at work, but also intellectually stimulating. And the graphics are simple enough to run perfectly on my shitty laptop.

Holy cow, that is a pretty kickass bundle! Eador wasn't my piece of pie, but SupCom is good, as is Creeper World!

I was quite disappointed when I heard there are no Japanese mods in vanilla SH4. Just discovered there is apparently a mod though, with maybe even a working Japanese campaign.

Still, mod or no mod, this is some awesome deal, thanks for mentioning it.

Silent Hunter V is shit vanilla, but the modding community turned it into an amazing game. There's one really big modpack that adds a ton of graphics mods and realism mods, as well as fixing a ton of bugs with the game and expanding the campaign. It's actually so fun.

Aw gundammit I've missed the Silent Hunter deal. How. HOW.

I was sure yesterday when I checked it it said 1 day and 12h hours to go or something like that and just now (>24h later) I want to buy it and it's gone. Bah.  :-\

Anyways.

Lot's of Ubisoft games on sale at GamersGate, most of them just 40% off, but some 75% and 80% deals were also spotted.

Also, Veterans Days sale on GG again, 11-13 November. A lot of different games on sale.

Oh, and there's also Tower defense week. Can't say other games caught my attention, but I've heard Creeper world series is supposed to be good?

Mount and Blade is currently free on GOG's autumn sale.

Format seems similar to the summer sale; a couple bundles featured for the day, and a rolling list of individual games on deep discount.

You wouldn't happen to have links to these, would you? Google for the mod packs is rather difficult, since the communities seem to be pretty small and a wee bit confusing.

It also looks like you get The Witcher 2 free if you visit the site every day this week.

I've already got it, so I dunno if I'll get a gift code, an alternate, or nothing.  :P

It's a modern curse, I guess...  When Humble did their birthday thing last week they gave away Metro 2033, which I already had from the THQ Bundle.  *shrugs*

Humble Jumbo Bundle 3 is on for the next two weeks. The highlights are Blackguards and Always Sometimes Monsters. Also Saints Row IV, but that's not my kind of thing.
ASM is a bit out of place here, as it's an indie game. Heard good things about it. Unique storytelling.
Blackguards is a very old school RPG in the Dark Eye universe setting. Regular retail pricing is a bit on the crazy high side, so it's probably the very rare occasion to get it for cheap. Not a game for everyone, though.
