Can we call it a sale if the game is free?

I won't say anything about the story as I just started and knew nothing about it. I can only say it's related to Norse myths, which is pretty obvious from the title.
A point-and-click adventure and RPG hybrid. Old school sprite graphics with voice acting. Outside combat, the interface is just like ScummVM used in Monkey Island.
You can start as one of three available classes: Warrior, Mage and Thief, customizable stat points and skills. Skills include things like acrobatics (so you can jump), climbing, animal ken, fast talking, herbalism (forage and brew potion), etc.
Combat is real-time action like that in Sid Meier's Pirates; keys used are either QWE or keypad grid, which you can use for attack, defense and dodge. You also get skills and items (keyboard 1-6) to use in combat.
The default setting requires you to keep yourself fed, rested and warm; you can starve, freeze to death and pass out from tiredness. I'm still struggling to find my first piece of food...
Stats and skills have a chance to improve as you use them; I gained some Endurance just by running around in the cold. I literally ran myself to death too, but that's just me being a noob in this game. :p
