Dominions 4 is 50% off on Steam, for about $18.

Also take a look at Survivor Squad, which is I found interesting, especially for that price.

I don't really see much of a difference between 2 and 4. Which makes it seem like it's not worth buying. What? Did they just rebalance it and add a few races in each of the series?

I have a -90% coupon for Serious Sam 3: BFE if anyone's interested.  Free to the first non-lunatic signed up before today that PMs me.

Also got -50% to Evoland and Garry's Mod that I don't want, same deal I guess.

They expire on 7th, 3rd, and 6th April respectively.

No. I believe the consensus is that the games keep getting better, but Illwinter adds very little each iteration, almost like the newer entries are just optimized mods of the previous games. It's also very likely you're going to play with mods anyhow, so it almost doesn't matter which one you get except for the engine improvements. I haven't payed tons of attention to 4, so it actually might have more issues than 3 even though it's meant to be better, but if it turns out that it's not unstable it's probably worth it to pick up after you're sure you'd be into it.
I very much recommend finding youtube videos and/or in-depth reviews on the game, because it's truly quite different from most other games in how it is played.

Yeah, it's great fun. I find most of the DLC to be worth, personally, especially Old Gods.
