Speaking of enchanting weapons, a boomerang that is sure to return could be useful.

Ah, Hastur..

What exactly in terms of direct offensive magical power do I have?

None; much like the alchemist or necromancer. however you can enchant items to have direct offensive magical power. they were also never intended to be cast on the fly, more like you craft magical enchantments in the workshop using shifts.

And for giving you an excuse to say "Fly my pretties! Fly!" and laughing a lot.

Indeed. Muhahahaha!

I hope you guys make it to the river fast. It's currently two non-combat types and one walking wounded against five opponents.

Five opponents? Soon to be four after I break the cultists mind (Which I am planning on doing next turn). And I'm walking because I don't want to get there first. If they target me, I'm screwed.

The headbats should distract them for a while. At least enough so I can grab that shield and get back in time. Stable FTW!

Isn't my barkskin supposed to protect me from spears and stuff? Just asking.

It seems that Mindsnap is much more powerful than I had thought. How badly did I screw up that Cultist anyway?

Judging from the eyeball that just popped out of his head and his jerking around, I would say that he just got royally screwed up in the head. It also helps that you have big stats to help you in your mental attacks.
