CRAFTING

Smithing skill examples
Light Scale dr3 960$ 48lbs comes with a helmet and mask.
Mail dr4 1500$ 45lbs comes with a mail coif
Plated dr 5 3000 60 lbs comes with a full metal helmet

Knife Range:Close 40$
Bayonet Range:close,1 120$
Battleblade Range:1 500$
Warblade Range:1,2 usable one handed by the strong 700$
Greatsword Range:2,1 900$

Tomohawk 40$
Hand ax 60$
Battle ax 80$

axes, maces, warhammers, anythign that can be made of all metal.

Mechanics

Research: you may accelerate your ability unlocks by devoting hours to research/training
   it takes 200 hours devoted to research to unlock something. There is a small chance you will get bonus hours, this chance increases with intelligence, or endurance for physical training.
Sleep Most species need to sleep after every 16 hours, going without sleep requires a will roll with an accumulating penalty or pass out.
Food Most species utilize 1 unit of food per day, some have restricted diets.
Healing if you make a Health roll then 1hp is regained per shift devoted to bedrest, you may utilize a bandage each shift to regain 1 more hp per shift, if a limb is crippled you must roll vrs Health attribute to not be permanently crippled once you are back at full HP, if your limb has been completely mangled or severed then you need regeneration, a potion a spell or an ability
Weaponry Comes in different general sizes, bigger being more damage and bigger optimal range.

at some point can an mason chisel features into me? (claws, better wings,badass runes)

Question, can I combine charateristics of different plants to create hybrids? Like say for example the sweet pod with thorny weed to create a thorny weed that secretes sugar from it's thorns?

No not really. Any badass runes would be superficial. and although you cant chisel claws you can use some punching weapons that are like claws.

Yes, although more valuable and complicated plants require more time to grow.

EDIT: Eh? Druidry is a skill? I completely missed that, did you edit it in? With your permission, can I trade my 1 herder skillpoint, 3 of my grower skillpoints and 2 of my ranger skillpoints for 6 skillpoints in druidry please?
