Sell the Maul, than find that spell shop, and buy Balrog's Fury and Etherealize.

It then travels around the group of guards like a boomerang. It (5) Slits another throat, (Three 6's in a row!) decapitates three more (!), (4) slices open the last guard's arm, and (2) narrowly misses a random bystander. It then flies back into your hand. Holy crap.

Which peice of armor do you want to enchant? I only just realized that bounce would be insanely overpowered for a 200 Urist enchantment, so I decided to make it bodypart-specific. Sorry :)

Actually scratch that. I have a much simpler idea. Hold on a moment.

EDIT. There, you'll have to pay a bit more for protection against projectiles, but it's wroth it, I guess.

I think the misunderstanding is because you have a .44 Magnum but the shop's only selling .45 Winchester Rifle rounds. Maybe .44 rounds should be in the shop?

Roll 31

I've moved all the statuses down a bit.

By the way, quick notice. You can either pay the full price for something, or you can attempt to barter to lower the price based on a roll. If you fail the roll, you have to pay extra, otherwise, you can get it for less.
When bartering, a 1 costs you 50% extra, a 2 costs 25% extra, 3 makes no difference, 4 costs 10% less, 5 costs 20% less, etc. The biggest discount you can get is 50%.

On a semi-unrelated  note, getting a 5 when using a skill (eg. swordsman) may increase your experience in that category, depending on whether I remember to or not. It doesn't actually give you a bonus to use unless you were previously novice.

Rolls:

Porin Keeperechoes-Porin reached into his back and pulled out a few precious coins. He counted a few gold ones and a few silver coins before handing them over in exchange for the red-and-blue-glowing scrolls.
Porin: Porin learn to shoot fire and ice!
The mage gladly accepted the deal and gave Porin the two scrolls.

New abilities: Fireball and Ice Shards!
-400☼

Bjorn Inmus-Bjorn walked over to the magic shop.
Bjorn: I think i have something you might like.
Bjorn pulled out his ☼Gold Maul☼, worth 7560☼!
Mage: We don't buy those here.
Bjorn: Really?
Bjorn proceeded to walk out, sell the maul at a trader's shop for 7000☼. He returned to the shop and took the two scrolls he wanted: One to make enemies helpless before him, another to cause fissures in the Earth itself! He left eyeing the magnificent staves on the racks in the shop.
I bet one of those'll give me a really nice bonus to magic casting!

+4000☼

Ivan 'Sir Fiddle' Fiddlebottom-Ivan went to the magic shop and bumped into Cogs, who was already there. See previous roll for armor enchantments available.

Taric 'Madman' Cogudib-
Taric: I'll take the that .37 rifle there, and ten clips of ammo for it. Do you do trade ins?
Clerk: Why yes we do! Let's see, your rifle is a Salisbury Model 98! We don't get a lot of foreign weapons around here. Though it's weaker, I'm sure a museum would pay quite a bit for it. It would be worth at least 1700☼! That'll cover the cost of the new rifle. Do you want a new choice or do you want to keep the .37?

Press X to undo transaction.

Removed weapon: Salisbury Model 98 - 12 Clips
New weapon: .37 Winchester 7000 + 10 Clips
+900☼

Tarran Terra-
Tarran: I'd like the Bounce Level 2 enchantment, please. 500☼, right here.
Tarran deposited the coins on the table, the metal clanking against his gauntlets, and then watched as the Mage took a staff, twirled it a bit, and smacked Tarran with it. The staff bounced right off Tarran's own armored face.
Mage: Alright, you're good to go!

-500☼

Nihilius 'Cogs' Vekt-
Cogs: Would it be possible to enchant my coat with 'Immunize'? Here's the money.
The mage, clearly already over-exerted from first enchanting Tarran, walked up to Cogs and enchanted Cogs' coat as well.
Cogs: Thank you!
said Cogs as he exited the shop.

-500☼

'Zrk'-Zrk thought about about buying some .45 caliber clips, but hesitated because he has no weapon that can use it. He already has ammo for his pistol, maybe he could get more?

Press Y to confirm action.
