((Have your character ask your question aloud and a crappy false AI will let you know))
((Emily isn't crappy, ans she's not an AI!))
((sorry for absence, whats going on?))
((Pretty much literally nothing new since your last post. Ashley, her compatriots, and Dominique are on a shuttle, currently headed to the Teras research station. Ashley has not given the co-ordinates necessary to find the conclave station.))
"Right, thanks. Can you give me the file?" Dom asked. If Ashley wanted to ask anything, she could do so afterward. As for the rest, nothing she could do about it, although she did wonder why Taric would give her the shuttle that he took the auxiliary life support system from. That would make it a lot harder to guarantee she'd make it back if anything weird happened.
"Of course," Emily assures you. "Information has been transferred to a mobile unit located in the starboard charging sink."
A light flashes in the starboard side of the lounge area, right where the passenger area necks down to the cockpit. Upon further investigation, you find a tray with a number of charging ports for datapads. Six of the fifteen slots have datapads in them, and one of them has just been turned on.
[Intuition 20] You pick it up and seek out the file that Emily referred to while you wonder why Taric gave you a shuttle this stripped. You don't realize you voiced the question until Emily answers you. "Lord Sizier had all non-primary life support systems stripped for his project in the hotlabs. This included shuttles and non-essential floors."

Type: Materials Transfer
Statement: Tcr. Liel,
We know that you've had significant success with your attempts to breach the mutation barrier in the Hel project, however, I am also aware that you've yet to stabilize the rate of telomere degradation in experimental cells. I think it would be mutually beneficial to both of our careers to share accumulated research. We have a number of scientifically valuable remains that could be transferred to your custody in exchange any of the subjects listed below.
[Attached to the message are a number of research and patient files. You don't understand the research files, and you really don't care to. The personnel files are what hold your attention. Two dozen names are listed, and all except one are unfamiliar. You flick through Jeffrey Wakeman's file with a mixture of dread and elation. You have no idea what most of the fields on the patient sheet mean, but height matches, eye color matches, UNI code matches. Everything you recognize is a match, but it's the included picture that makes your breath catch. It can't be him, and yet... it is.
He looks battered, a long truncheon shaped bruise decorating the side of his face, and he's been shaved. The hair that he always took as his one small open act of rebellion against the Technocracy's standards has been cut down to the scalp. His eyes, however, are unchanged. They stare defiantly up from the pad, combining with the slightly sardonic smile that he wears to create a picture quite apart from that of a prisoner. The expression that stares up at you has a message quite apart from defeat. I win, says the slight smile and proud eyes, regardless of the fact that he's bald, beaten, and slated to be a test subject in... in whatever Hel is.
You look away from the picture after a long minute, trying to skip onto something else before you start crying in front of Ashley. There's not a great deal else to the report, a single reply and a general overview of Teras station that Taric appended.]

Statement: Dr. Pak,
Denied. Your research, and by extension your help, is worthless.
I suggest you spend your time attempting to convince your superiors why you don't deserve to be discharged for spending the better part of a year expending Technocracy resources to generate nothing but corpses that aren't even fit for necropsy research.
[Other than an electronic signature, nothing else is included in Tcr. Liel's response. You move quickly down to the station specs Taric included.]
