Taric quietly motioned Cain to hand the radio over.

"Oh, of course it's a joke. We loose two guys and I nearly die, of course I should make a goddamn joke! NO IT'S NOT A JOKE!

*Sigh* If you have anything against the AI, take it out on the AI, ma'am. I didn't program that asshole."

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

ooc: He isn't exactly coded... It's difficult to explain and plot relevant, but he wasn't programmed to be constantly horny, that's just him.

She nods in exasperation and hands the linked radio back to Taric. "I apologize captain, it's been a difficult time for us all. For that reason I will pass over your lack of formal address, this is not a social event." She sighs and massages her temples. "Hoke models have in the past known to be unstable, I had never actually used one however. It was not what I expected."

So he was a person who had their brain transferred into an AI model? Sounds like fun, gotta try that out when I'm dying.

"Heh, yeah, Hoke's model is quite interesting. I actually thought he was a person on the way here from earth. I never expected him to be an AI.

So, what now? We going to get out or what?"

Dom snorted in derision. "You can picture how much fun it is to actually be ON that ship with him. Where apparently he has cameras everywhere." She thought for a moment. "I can't really think of a good cover story, that kinda thing's not what I'm good at." She wasn't much of a liar, anyway. "I suppose we could put Teague in an unchained uniform and with our technocrat ones claim we were escorting a dangerous prisoner or somethin'. At least if he keeps acting weird we could try it, anyway."

"Acoustics, dude," Dom said. "It's a small metal room. Yelling is kinda loud in here."

Major Caine begins looking severe at Tarran again. "Captain, perhaps I wasn't clear. I will forgive you once for neglecting the titles of your superior officers, which in this case are Major or Ma'am, not Mrs. Major." She lets her glare of doom sink in for a second before continuing. "We can't just get you out, we're trying to lay low until the Technocracy transport gets here. If you can manage to convince them to let you out, even under guard, I could have a few of our men guard you instead of theirs. The colony leader will probably come around their dawn with the security chief who you met to interrogate you, they're civvies so it should be pretty gentle. How you win the hearts and minds of the natives after that is up to you. Namu Amida Butsu."

"OI!, If you're going to hit on anyone, IT WILL BE ME!"

"Oh hey, you're alive, I'm sooo happy. I understand your interest in me, and I feel the same way, but I don't think we can be together, so put the lady back on."

You rolled a 1, that's all I can tell you.

"Oh sure, try it." A gasp of static comes from the other end. "But wait, you aren't here? How very terrible."

Tarran is of course completely unaffected by the doom stare because he just doesn't give a crap.

"'Namu Amida Butsu', Ma'am? I never took any Chinese lessons."
