"That's the point! You get to eat, sleep, screw, drink, take a bath, piss, run around naked and screaming, and whatever else comes to mind. I'm restricted to looking and taking reads off of a lady's garments, that and talking to a computer who seems to take a sadistic glee in stating the obvious. I'm bored, my feet itch, I'm reflexively hungry, I'm horny, I'm feel like I should be tired, and literally the only people who I have to talk to take little things like appreciation of the feminine form way too seriously."

James got back dressed and walked throughout the ship, now dressed. He clutched at his head. "I hate the Technocrats. So. Much."

Dom grumbled without saying anything specific and leaned against the wall petulantly. "Fine then, I guess I should just walk around nude all the time then. That's clearly all a woman's good for in this ship," she said sarcastically. "I brought you all food but that's just not enough, is it." She glared at the ship in general since she had no idea where Hoke was. "Yeah, well, I'm not screwing ANY of these guys, so you're out of luck, pervert. And how can you see my scars from the suit's measurements, anyway?"

She turned her glare to the guys. "And you'd better not go around telling these guys what they are because I will figure out how to reprogram you, and what fun will we have then..."

[Taricus]

"Wait, you DO have a recording...

"We really should get Hoke a female AI so he'll just shut the hell up. Hoke, can't you just shut off some of your emotions or something?"

[Taricus]

"How 'bout I block his access to the internal sensors?"

Dom grumbled without saying anything specific and leaned against the wall petulantly. "Fine then, I guess I should just walk around nude all the time then. That's clearly all a woman's good for in this ship," she said sarcastically. "I brought you all food but that's just not enough, is it." She glared at the ship in general since she had no idea where Hoke was. "Yeah, well, I'm not screwing ANY of these guys, so you're out of luck, pervert. "Scar tissue, it's less elastic and much more dense than the surrounding flesh, nerve damage also makes it difficult for the sensors to compensate for your complete comfort so the clothing's sensors send up a little red flag whenever it finds some. Look, I don't look at you in the showers, you don't guilt trip the techy into altering me. Deal?" There's a slight pause, followed by another wearing exhalation of static. "Sorry about your husband, we all have a family dead or alive. I thought I was going to die, might as well have a look at one last good thing before going out, you know?"

"We really should get Hoke a female AI so he'll just shut the hell up. Hoke, can't you just shut off some of your emotions or something?"

"Can't you chop off both of your legs?"

"Fine, fine, whatever," Dom sighed. She was getting tired of arguing about people spying on her anyway. It was starting to get a little surreal. "Let's just act like this entire little incident never happened and never bring it up again. That good?"

[Taricus]

"If you want nathaniel, I could see If I could get you some porn from the settlement. Though I'll be going through the computer systems anyway."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"You could try connecting him to the magazine you've got," Dom suggested. "...Would that even work?"

[Taricus]

"If he could connect to it..."

"Fine, fine, whatever," Dom sighed. She was getting tired of arguing about people spying on her anyway. It was starting to get a little surreal. "Let's just act like this entire little incident never happened and never bring it up again. That good?"

"Sure, and I'll keep the holographic versions of you flouncing about the cockpit in lingerie to an absolute minimum. Now other than outraged, did anyone besides the warwench have an idea for a destination?"

"If you want nathaniel, I could see If I could get you some porn from the settlement. Though I'll be going through the computer systems anyway."

"Romantic bodice rippers with pirates, the old kind on the sea, not the space kind, if you can find it. I would be eternally in your debt and would teach you how to fly if you got me that little diversion. As to that centerfold you have, ship already scanned it. Eh, it's just a body, no story, no heart pounding romantic trysts in the dead of night, not my style."

James heard some of the conversation coming form the main hold.
He paused for a moment. Then he slowly backed away. "Creepers." He muttered under his breath.

Dom suddenly perked up. "Oh, you like romance novels too?" she said. She tapped Taric on the shoulder. "I think I'll come with you when you look for those." She turned back to... wherever she thought Hoke was at the moment. "Did you ever read Plundered Hearts? It's a great one! A young woman is kidnapped by the Sea Falcon, Captain Jamison, who it turns out was actually working with her father to overthrow an evil privateer."

Plundered Hearts... one of the first text adventure games I ever played. It was part of the Infocom Adventure pack with Borderwatch, Planetfall, Zork 3, and Infidel, and two others that I can't remember and don't care about. :\ Just thought it would be funny to reference it.

"_{SHHH!, Don't tell her!} Her suggestion is good anyway. You're still losing access to the internal cameras and projectors though." Configure the system to lock out Nathaniel from all non-vital functions unless he has biometric data.
