Started up a new Dwarvern Valkyrie. I decide to enter a hallway the hallway to the south, and open the door on the other side.

The goblin zaps the balsa wood wand at you! The lightning bolt hits you! The lightning bolt hits you!

1) I am a bad pilot.

2) I had a helicopter. I was driving.

3) I intentionally flew into an enemy zone I knew would have at least ten enemies. I knew I would not make it.

4) AA specialists in the patrols.

bluhh... I didn't have a Persona with any ice type moves on it and the guardian to the next set of floors was weak to only ice :(

Alright, I just got this game and have no idea how to play. Oh hey, this starting scenario starts me off with six characters in comparison to the other scenarios, which are all solo. This should be a good way to start the game.

Aaaand I get wiped by cannibals right after leaving the first town.

Decided to play some Adventure mode. I was a human outsider. My first mission: kill a vampire who killed 638 people. Well crap. I went to the town (Murderreleases, that REALLY gave me a bad feeling) found her and confronted her expecting everyone to gang up on her and do my work for me. ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE. The violence wasn't centered around the vampire like i expected, she just happened to be there, everyone was indiscriminately killing each other. I eventually decided to get into it and was quickly knocked unconscious. When i came to everyone save one unconscious woodworker and my vampire friend was dead. I was unwilling to drop it and charged her, earning a knife to the skull for my trouble.

TLDR: Murderreleases lived up to it's name.

Mission 4.  I have all the units possible from the previous mission, and I haven't lost a single soldier yet.  I build four vehicles, all medium.  Three combustion powered vehicles with gatling guns, for a head on assault on the Soviet base.  And two solar powered vehicles, one with a gatling and other with a machine gun, for patrolling.   I crew them up with mechanics, and then get my nine or so soldiers together, plus two scientist to act as medics.   I launch a head on assault, with my vehicles in the front to take the bulk of the defensive fire.  I managed to destroy one bunker and two soldiers.   I lost all of mine.

Because one would have killed me instead of five ganging up on me? Probably should have just put away the sword and punched the damned things to death when I came across them.

Fresh out of character creation, the halfling assassin Haae Ijustmetu was ready to take on the dungeon. Took 3 steps, picked up a potion, and OH LOOK THERE'S A GNOLL PACK ON DUNGEON LEVEL ONE, RIGHT NEXT TO THE START, HOW FUN.
