I wandered into a Moongate and was Turned insane by some sort of Spider-Cthulu.

Telefragged (or jumpfragged?) by a DESTROYER CLASS ship in X3:AP, as I was traversing the Terran sectors.

Instakilled by a Hermit crab.

To be fair, this was a level one character.

On the other hand, I wiped the floor with everything else that came up. So it was a bit unfair.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Is this variant translated in english? Oh, and what new things does it offer to the table?

I'm not sure if it's actually translated, but it seems to work pretty much okay so far with english language settings.

Oh, and what new things does it offer to the table?
A couple of features of ELM:
Combo bonuses: Each hit builds up a combo meter, which gives bonuses so long as you can keep landing hits within a time limit; it recovers as you land more hits.
Spells have multipliers, which boost effects but use more MP/Stock. (Max is 5x, depends on spell level and casting level.)
You can see your Faith and Stamina levels.
You can choose what recipe to make when cooking.
Statistics that used to be shown as "#" are shown as numbers, like attribute/spell/skill potential, resistances, and equipment effects.
Corpses occasionally drop drugged with love potions.
The game will show when a shopkeeper's inventory is refreshed.
You no longer lose karma when an NPC steps into a fire/puddle you made.
Usable items can have modifiers (+3 Max)
Monster can drop their Egg/Milk/Shit on death. (Written literally as "Lactation, Pregnant, and Scat Fetishes Rejoice!")
Investing in shops increases the quality of their goods as well as their quantity.
NPCs are affected by the Environment affect of the Tower of Flames.
More messages for crits and kills.
Timed Quests show your remaining time.
You can change your pet's AI somewhat (Distance to target, moving probability, and change to use special ammo.)
Shows the amount of damage you deal.
Disables house rank limits (All homes except the Castle have rank caps.)
Change whether training cost depends on your level or your skill level.
Change whether the story dungeon regenerates after you beat it.
Gives you skill bonuses when you level up, this depends on your class.
You can drop a corpse of yourself when you die.
Season changes.
NPC adventurers now have much lower turnover rates.
Imouto Koe Daisakusen! (Mou Ichidou Onegai!)
"The Expressions of Love with My Wonderful Wife" (Your guess is as good as mine.)

A few among many other changes.

Some of these settings can be changed in the Extra setting menus.

I tried to jump on a high-voltage line to grind it to a secret place. Of course I missed it and plunged in a 100 feet depth ravine in the city.

Oh my god, I really missed this game and its awesome soundtrack. :D

Kicked a dwarf in the shin, and he hit me in the face with his hammer.

Kicked a little dark elven girl in the shin, and she hit me in the face with a three-shot fireball spread.

Kicked my girlfriend-apparent's dad in the ass because he really is a complete asshole and deserves it, and then I'm surrounded by about a dozen guards who about 20 times stronger than guards I had been kicking previously(and could beat).

Probably should stop kicking people.

I was doing nice, blasting at the K'tinga's with my Constitution (yay Enterprise c:) when I heard the dreaded "Containment field failure! Performing emergency warp core ejection!"

FUUUU- Full impulse, we must-

*BOOOM*

And it took out two my Miranda's as well :c

I was limping along with a minigun, low on ammo, so I ducked into a room to check it out.  The enemy followed me, blocked the door, and sloooooowly killed me.  I couldn't shoot, I couldn't change weapons, I couldn't run.  I could only die.

So there we were. Force parity and all. Enemy had advantage in ranged troops but I had minor advantage in cavalry and all of my infantry were armoured well enough to fend off most arrow fire.

First thing I do is have my cavalry charge the enemy general. This leaves my main body without cavalry support. Next thing I know most of my forces are separated into small blocks fighting off the enemy elite troops with nasty armour piercing weapons. My pike formations get flanked, my spearmen routed and heavy infantry get whittled down to a fraction of their starting strength. To make matters worse, my cavalry is getting shredded and forced to withdraw.

End result? I lose an elite pike unit and few others, all of my surviving units are whittled down to just a few dozen men. The enemy lost two or three out of their eight melee infantry units and significant portion of their ranged troops but are still strong enough to press on.

Well, at least it isn't all happiness and sunshine against the AI.
