Has anyone ever had a young lady in their party before? The support abilities sound nice, but the random potions don't. Any advice?

Aside from their support abilities, they're fairly average across the board; they use melee AI while being a warmage class, so they're a bit weaker in combat than the starting little girl.

The problem is, it's doubtful you'll find a Girl's Diary that early in the game. Since they start at level 1, you're better off catching/dominating a wild monster.

Like you'd expect, the potion throwing thing is a mixed bag. They don't throw beneficial potions at enemies, but they DO occasionally toss things like molotovs and potions of mutation. So that cupid of love that she just tossed one at might turn into a rabbit or maybe a chaos hound.

I think i'm going to change versions.

If I cross over the character file, will it keep things the same except for the differences (such as making chips appear, or christmas?)

I did it once but I can't remember.

Switching between versions shouldn't cause any problems, but it wouldn't hurt to back-up your saves.

Okay then.

I'm on 1.22, which version do you suggest? Christmas?

Personally, I use Enhanced Love Miracle, but I hear the Okazu version is good too.

I have no idea what those are, or what they do. Would you explain please?

May I have a link please?

Edit: They look like they're not in English, Curses!

I think you can't go back to old versions. Or I ruined my Save...

Edit: Re-downloaded 1.22 or something. Got 3 chips immediately in cave, and one outside.

Oh, and a yen coin, which I also was getting none of. Huzzah!

ELM is mostly background coding, and it doesn't change your language configuration, and both version should work regardless; though Omake has new quests/lines/items/NPCS which become garbled if you haven't set your region correctly.

I'm guessing you can't read Moonspeak, so I'll give you the link to ELM.
Direct Download Link for ELM

A couple of features of ELM:
Combo bonuses: Each hit builds up a combo meter, which gives bonuses so long as you can keep landing hits within a time limit; it recovers as you land more hits.
Spells have multipliers, which boost effects but use more MP/Stock. (Max is 5x, depends on spell level and casting level.)
You can see your Faith and Stamina levels.
You can choose what recipe to make when cooking.
Statistics that used to be shown as "#" are shown as numbers, like attribute/spell/skill potential, resistances, and equipment effects.
Corpses occasionally drop drugged with love potions.
The game will show when a shopkeeper's inventory is refreshed.
You no longer lose karma when an NPC steps into a fire/puddle you made.
Usable items can have modifiers (+3 Max)
Monster can drop their Egg/Milk/Shit on death. (Written literally as "Lactation, Pregnant, and Scat Fetishes Rejoice!")
Investing in shops increases the quality of their goods as well as their quantity.
NPCs are affected by the Environment affect of the Tower of Flames.
More messages for crits and kills.
Timed Quests show your remaining time.
You can change your pet's AI somewhat (Distance to target, moving probability, and change to use special ammo.)
Shows the amount of damage you deal.
Disables house rank limits (All homes except the Castle have rank caps.)
Change whether training cost depends on your level or your skill level.
Change whether the story dungeon regenerates after you beat it.
Gives you skill bonuses when you level up, this depends on your class.
You can drop a corpse of yourself when you die.
Season changes.
NPC adventurers now have much lower turnover rates.
Imouto Koe Daisakusen! (Mou Ichidou Onegai!)
"The Expressions of Love with My Wonderful Wife" (Your guess is as good as mine.)

A few among many other changes.

Some of these settings can be changed in the Extra setting menus.

Maybe later. Too busy doing stuff.

1) I botched a wish horribly. Got an item that's barely worth selling,
2) I used this rod and now I have a bell! What do I do with it? I heard you need to give it arms
3) Who will accept these delicious Molotovs?
4)Are Change Creature rods/whatever any use?
5) I have a ton of money thanks to my boots of cool! Trying to accrue Change material scrolls & disguise kits.

4)Are Change Creature rods/whatever any use?
Not practical use, but without a doubt you could use it on a nasty generic enemy. Like, say, one that has Ether.

This assumes you even remember it.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

*pats*

2) I used this rod and now I have a bell! What do I do with it? I heard you need to give it arms
Bells are great pets due to their super high speed. You can use gene machine to add skills and equipment slots.

Bells are natively ranged attackers, though if you give them arms and a melee weapon, they will indeed use it on adjacent enemies.  Best use is give them bows. They shoot so many times in one round, if you have two bells they can fill up your combat log almost instantly.

They have very great dodging abilities, but super low HP, so if enemies land a lucky hit they're going to die (hint: roomful of hounds). So try to give them items that increase their Life (i.e. Rubynus items) and give them resistance.

3) Who will accept these delicious Molotovs?
Not good when you have pets or friendlies around...

4)Are Change Creature rods/whatever any use?
I usually drain charges from useless rods with the Draw Charge ability (gained by having Magic Device 16), only leaving behind a few for item quests.

1. The wish parser is a crapshot. Unless you need a specific item really badly, you're better off wishing for "evolution".

2. Bells don't need arms, they have a ranged and ammo slot.

3. Your Enemies.

4. Change creature rods are useful if you run into a particularly troublesome monster. Just use it on them and *hope* it doesn't turn into something worse.

5. You could try investing in magic shops, you could kill two birds with one stone and get scrolls of change material AND scrolls of incognito.

K. Time to clangle all the enemies.

With molotovs I meant that I read things don't go hostile if they drink after acceptance or something.

Knowing my luck i'm going to burn Vernis or someplace down. Any NPC's have worthwile drops?

I got ragnarok on my old file, going through Lesimas with that was FUN.
If I remember correctly, I bought the end in the Sewer in Kapul. Good times.
