Gar: now on the wagon, will strike up conversations with those who have been familiarising themselves with mining. He seems to have gained a sudden interest, and would like to know what they managed to learn. :D

Nirur Torir, you found some books on architecture while in town. You should study them while you have spare time.

I completely forgot about them, in the wake of the temple. Thanks.

I study my books for the remainder of the trip. Unless the world's completely falling apart, don't bother me.

Good idea, I'll probably still end up doing some digging even though we have a designated miner now.

To Shem: "Do you think you could help me with learning how to properly mine? As a broker, I won't have too much use once we first get to our destination, so I figure I'd help with the digging."

You almost feel as if you will become an adequate architect. That's assuming these books are any good...

(he's offline)

I also updated the relationship chart. Lots of friendships and grudges formed.

Indeed. The plot thickens!

Meditate, praying to Gosmer Silverymine to show my respect.

If Shem doesn't want to talk then guess I'll Attempt to contact my Gods, thanking them for their help at the temple.

Is it that Litast Doesn't like Kog, or that Kog doesn't like Litast?

We are of the same caste.

To Shem: "Do you think you could help me with learning how to properly mine? As a broker, I won't have too much use once we first get to our destination, so I figure I'd help with the digging."
Gar: now on the wagon, will strike up conversations with those who have been familiarising themselves with mining. He seems to have gained a sudden interest, and would like to know what they managed to learn. :D

"Diggin' isnae tha' hard. You have th' rock face in front of ye an' a pick in yer hands, like so. Ye swing th' pick and catch the stone, shattering't. Ye remove th'shattered stone and repeat 'til ye've dug as far as need be. An' as fer nae bein' o' much use, keep in mind tha' withou' a broker, we'd be forced t' accept whae'er deal we c'd ge' fro' caravans."

Converse with Shem about his reasons for joining the embark.

"Reasons? I didnae exactly choose tae get sent on this trip, tho' I'm nae complainin'. I've been assigned as th' military liaison b'tween th' Mount'nhome and th' Warhold o' Icy Winds. Th' brass figure I'm bes' suited tae't because o' me experience as a siege engineer. After all, ye send a thief to catch a thief. 'Tis the same princ'ple here."

Both. Kog thinks she was overly harsh to the others, and doesn't trust her rich blood. Litast thinks Kog is being too complacent and collaborative, and doesn't like his servant-ness.

Fuzzy, I was offline and then had to type things up. XD

And I noticed I'm on good terms with everyone save Rolan's character. Is it because he's low class or summat?
