Well, Maxicagi still hasn't voted. He could put it up to three votes.

We could try and mix ALL of them.

A rocky star-shaped rainforest island with a river or water going through one side, and a river of magma going through the other side, all falling into a giant island-dividing chasm, with each point on the star being a different biome, all on the planet Phaaze, which is located in the Plane of Air.

I'm moving my vote to this.
Sorry, I'll have to declare that too specific. And beneficial, what with the biomes being cleanly divided like that.

Not really, other than voting for whichever option you think needs to be strengthened to make that scenario more likely.

Hm... I'm thinking in a few hours we'll go with whatever votes we have. Any objections?

So it begins...

The eight of you arrive at your destination, each with eight weeks of food, 8 weeks of drink, and a single tool to begin your new life.

Spoiler: ???, Elven Ghost (RAM) (click to show/hide)

Looking around, you take in the surroundings.

Right now, you stand amid the rainforest, on what seems to be a rather large island. It doesn't seem quite so spacious where you're standing, however, because there appears to be some sort of bottomless chasm fairly nearby. The walls are surprisingly straight and smooth, but somewhat ridged vertically. The bottom fades to mist or darkness, depending on local conditions, and even the other side of the chasm isn't always visible. It's a massive, massive feature, to the point where you're not even sure how you'd get to the other side. Floating in and above the chasm are various rocks, many of them pitted and glowing with teal energy. This same energy sometimes crackles across the chasm in sporadic lightning arcs.

On the other side, you've got a rather large river. It gushes down with surprising force from a mountain bordering the chasm, runs roughly parallel to it along the island, then empties into the sea.

The river is probably about halfway between the coast and the chasm. Most of the coast is rocky outcroppings and tidepools, but the outlet of the river is fairly sandy. The sea itself is fairly shallow in a lot of regions, with frequent small islands popping up here and there. Most are rocky outcroppings, though some plant life does exist, and a handful are sandbars or made of more fertile soil.

So, here you are, wedged between a large river and an endless pit on a jungle island surrounded by smaller rocky islands. You're not sure what's out there, in terms of wildlife, minerals, traders, or migrants, but you know you'd better be prepared for them. Oh and you've got two months to feed yourselves, good luck with that.

As a reminder, each turn is a week, each week is 7 days, and each day is two actions, unless you'd like to risk stressing yourself out. Good luck!

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

Action 1-14 : Dig one space into a hill, then widen on either side into a three space, continue digging 12 spaces in. Then dig a down staircase at the end. If finished before actions done, take a load off.
