It started with the bizarre axe fascination, and now it becomes a bizarre spear fascination. You guys really enjoy non-standard weapons. It's not a bad thing, but you can practice making more than just spears.
I try to grow large wings, but I'm obviously doing something wrong if all I can do is cause scars to appear on my back where wings should be. Those punks, and their not wanting to grow! Whatever, I don't even need wings! That's a lie, wings would be rather nice, and would make the Rule of Cool apply to me...
I might not be able to grow wings, but I can certainly train my strength, speed, and reflexes rather quickly with this form. I might even be able to stay in vampire mode during the day!

It's just not fair how lucky I am. My luck is shenanigans, is what my luck is. I not only managed to become quite skilled in using my power, but I've learned to turn them off/on, and even managed to remove the limit that it has to turn off in the light. A priest with a Sun Core passes by, and my powers remains active.
I decide to take some initiative, and ask the priest-guy for the Sun Core. He looks at me for a good long while, with that annoying hum of thinking, then hands me the Sun Core like it's nobody's business. He goes back into the church laughing, something about removing a curse from the church, or something stupid like that...
Wait a minute, this isn't a Sun Core at all! What was that popping noise? You don't hear it? HOW CAN YOU NOT HEAR THAT BUZZING?! Whoa everything's going black...
I wake up an undisclosed amount of time later. Lo and behold, that accursed moon is still not gone! Something feels different... The core is an emblem now?

Why am I falling? When did I get wings? For that matter when did I get dark tendrils? Why are all these golem parts around me? What is going on?!
Dwarfmaster teaches me all about spears. A suspicious amount, really. I ask to be trained in other things, but he denies the request. I can't understand half of what he says anymore, so I leave. In town a man is attacked and killed by bandits. Ow, my head.
Hey, the guy wasn't killed by bandits, cool! Why is it suddenly nighttime?

I wanted to end the child phase soon, so this is how it happens. This wouldn't have happened at all if you punks weren't so lucky. From now on the best results for Percival are going to be on 1's, while Ephraim stays on the standard 20.
