Undeath Knight. - Steve is Incompetent
« on: October 29, 2010, 05:18:50 pm »

This is an X of Y!! game, I just wanted to use a different type of title to differentiate this from the others I'm currently GMing in.

Spoiler: Exposition (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Inventory (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Magic (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Weapon Proficiencies (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Class (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

As with all my other games, skills reach level 100 then evolve. Draconic magic will remain at 0 until we obtain a dracolich pup in the teenage stage. You'll know the teen stage is coming once I mention finding a mysterious amulet.

We're going to be washed to sea next update, choose how you want to reach that end. Make it humorous.

In retrospect I should have included giving Undeath Knight a name part of the options since nobody does anything unless I ask them to, moving right along.

Think up a name, then post who you want to be found by. It has to be a human or elf of any kind. We'll be able to do things once we're rescued. Specifically adventuring. Crafting will come in the teen stage if I feel like adding it.

Our name is Percival. Knowing our luck, we'll be found by something unpleasant, like a caravan of human gypsies.

We still need a savior of human/elven descent.

Perform a whale call and have some hippy elves come save you, then eat them for sweet sweet nourishment and entertainment :D

Eating life energy is a part of necromancy. It's an easy type, so unless you eat a dinosaur, or powerful wizard you won't get any boosts for using.

I'm surprised you guys didn't think up something overly weird for our savior. Ah well.

Norrec: We can only eat small mammals and non-sentient life with level 1 necromancy. On an unrelated note, elves are manly in this, hippie they ain't.

Try to stand, if you fail, support self with solid darkness and float. Actually, try that first.

Dark magic is the magical art of destruction. You can't interact with it, and you can't use it for enchanting. I'll add wind magic into the previous posts, then give you guys a free point in it.

breadbocks: I'll add it in eventually.

And now, the double post update made legendary to myself and no others in my other games.

[EDIT]
I just noticed that I made exhaustion our emotional state... I need to get my sleep schedule more night oriented again.

First question:  Where am I?

Second question:  Who are you two?

Third question:  Can you train me how to perform that spell?  It would be useful since I'm in a foreign land along way away from home.

Bring the bed to life and bind it to your control so that you can slay these simpletons

When we wake up we can either go to the forest with Trine to train our sword skill a bit, or go with Claire to practice magic. We'll eventually get around to doing both, but each one will send us to our first dungeon raid with different people.

We can make a ball, or a single tiny strike of lightning bread. I'll put you down as a magic practice vote.

Evergod: Golem creation would be classified as light magic. Eventually we'll take control of a second character that is pretty much the opposite of Percival. At that point I'll start giving dual updates for each character.
