We're a being of undeath, learning that which restores will destroy our body.
Ugh, I have a splitting headache... WHOA! I opened my eyes, and WAM! Trine was right there! He has breakfast, so that makes him pretty much okay. Claire comes in with a weird drink. I don't feel safe ingesting that, so I'll just eat what Trine brought.
The scrumptious meal delicately prepared by Trine was fantastic, who said Peasant's can't appreciate good things? Oh yeah, Emperor Steve was the one that said that... I don't know why, but I want him dead.
Claire: "Here, drink this. It's a mana potion, you expended a lot of mana trying to send out that signal."
Me: "Signal? I was just angry that I couldn't lift my arms in anger."
Claire: "Uh..."
Me: "Besides, I feel fine! I was hungry and all, but mana shouldn't matter much in that department."
Claire: "O... Kay, then..."
Trine: "I can see his mana flow, there isn't anything wrong with it."
The two look at me strangely, then Claire offers to teach me a bit about magic. I accept heartily, then take my new weapon from Trine. I leave my worthless memento in the room with the only coin that survived.
This is the first time I've left this room since arriving here, so I'm kind of shocked(though not really) to discover that I'm inside of the castle. Claire helps me down to the magic range, where she has me practice with all of the other beginners.
The first lesson is Pyro magic. I don't really have much of an affinity with it, so I drop the lesson like a bad habit.
The second lesson is taught by Claire as well, this time it's Cryo. Now this I could get used to. I continue the lesson until I can do everything Claire demonstrates, and wait for the next lesson to start.
Lightning magic was rather easy. I could perform everything Claire demonstrated immediately, so it wasn't much fun. The other lessons didn't seem like much fun, so I decide to go over to the other class. They're teaching Cry, Lightning, and Wind magic over here. They're also teaching the very base concept of dark magic.
One of the concepts of dark magic involves concentrating mana into your arms, then launching it forward in a destructive method without blowing your arm off. It seemed pretty off, so I try something similar. Instead of turning my arm into a meat grenade I try absorbing mana from around my arm, and blasting it forward. A dark lightning-like crackle appears, and the instructor stops the lesson abruptly from the shock of the noise.
The crackle seems to have blasted a hole in the wall. Whoops.
We're told to go to the dean of the magic academy to be told how we can repay the school for the alleged "damages" we did.
Me: "I demand a lawyer!"
Trine: "Actually, I know someone that can help you there."
Me: "Is he free?"
Trine: "Oh, gods no."
Me: "Then he can stay out of this."

The magic dungeon can either be an abandoned castle, some ruins in a forest, or the castle's underground library.
If I haven't already mentioned it, I'll bring in the second character once we complete the magic and weapon dungeons.
Norrec: We're not a knight yet. We're barely even cursed into undeath yet.
