So out of the blue, my mouse started acting up for whatever reason, one day it was fine, the next one very much not. After start-up it works fine for a few minutes then it's almost as if the cable is damaged or there's some issue with the optics, the damn thing starts jumping all over the screen or becomes unresponsive for a few seconds before returning back to normal for another several seconds and then the whole thing starts again and only seems to get worse as time goes on.

If it was a windows update that fucked something or me installing or uninstalling something else I'd get it and start troubleshooting from there. But I did fuck all before the issue appeared, just a case of the thing working one day and then not working the next.

And this isn't even some shitty cheapo mouse but a halfway decent one, which makes this thing even worse :V

Yeah, I've put enough effort into searching my old posts that I'm not worried about someone else doing so. It takes ages to find anything.

You can't search them, though. Just browse them in pages of 50 posts or so at a time.

Apparently it has a NUC 9 Extreme (so H-series i5, i7, or i9) and an RTX card in there. It's a full-on gaming computer. As for me, I'm just waiting for the reviews of this thing; the thermals are either gonna be good or "good", considering that the heat from the PC components is used for the warming tray. Talk about a high-effort shitpost.
