This steak is supposed to be exaggeratingly amazing... (the joke is that it is a huge juicy steak)

Also if a steak looks good chances are it is from a cooking anime (though... not all cookie anime can do steaks well)

I dunno... Who makes a steak cut that thick and only seers the outside? (There is another pic I have of the steak cut... it is Blue Rare or rather beat red on the inside... meaning the middle is likely raw)

I've had steaks with various herb/garlic butters on them. Pretty tasty, actually!

Hmm, I've seen herbs applied directly, but not with butter. Usually if the meat needs that grease, you should have chosen a less lean cut...

I usually see it in high end restaurants, and often on pretty well marbled steaks. There is some particular way of cooking the steaks that butter helps with, apparently. Or wealthy people like buttered steaks, I don't know. *shrug*
