Actually, idly thinking on it, I can't help but wonder if it's an artifact of the (lack of) transportation infrastructure. Somewhere that's more hub-based (bus stops, rail/subway, etc.) would naturally have less minimally-profitable areas for fast food (restaurants in general, really) to pop up. Not enough folks going through (wanting the fast bit) areas outside of the hub zone style areas to really maintain business. Place like the states, which is both less concentrated and more drive-y, would have a better foundation for supporting more fast food businesses, if perhaps with lower profit margins per individual shop (assuming cultural impetus towards eating out is equal, at least, which it almost certainly isn't). Something along those lines, anyway.

For that matter.  Its not anything people don't do in their own bedrooms, it just taken to the kitchen and eaten nonchalantly.

The weirdness isn't so much that it's made using vaginal secretions, it's that it's made using human by-products. I'd be just as weirded out by something made from human milk, although this is actually more comparable to human mucus.

Yeah I don't see the big deal really.  This way it even goes through a process which makes it food.
Yogurt's production in general is kinda gross...  As are hot dogs, and the pink goo fast-food burgers are made from.  All these things taste pretty good though.
