So I saw an advert this afternoon for an American movie called The Interview and the premise is that an intelligence agency wants these two guys who have been invited to North Korea to interview Kim Jong-un to assassinate him.

Is one of the main character Dennis Rodman?

Someone had to explain that one to me.

Really? But it contains almost all the best and worst aspects of anime...

Such as abusing the main character for fun and having the plot devolve as it goes along and having a fanbase that makes the thing seem like the most obnoxious anime ever in spite being no where close to as bad.

Its the law of anime... The main character who is called a loser is never actually a loser.

Eren is no where close to as bad as it gets.

I'd say Love Hina is "the worst" but... it does it intentionally... rather then most anime that are just afraid to give their characters legitimate flaws.

Hold on, who calls Eren a loser? The only one I remember doing that is Jean, and he's a bit of a jerkass so it's to be expected. Everyone else seems to think he's fairly capable.

And his being completely unable to understand the concept of Bertholdt and Reiner having regrets for their actions; they're completely evil worthless scum, after all, given what they've done
