This conversation made me realize: I could totally pick that for a college major. Probably. No idea what kind of jobs a suicidologist would get. Marketing? Statistics? General social science stuff? Seems an interesting field though.

You could become co-author of the Paediatric Mental Health section of the new edition of Tintinalli's Emergency Medicine (8th Ed in press), as well as a contributor of the Paediatric Mental Health Diagnoses of the Clinical Handbook of Psychotropic Drugs for Children and Adolescents.

EDIT: Ex-wife's car got swarmed with crazy ants yesterday. Thousands of them. Was actually somewhat amusing (after the hyperventilating panicked call yelling at me to go pick up the kids from school) because of her tendency to overreaction. She's a wannabe granola-muncher who watches all kinds of documentaries about food additives and dangerous chemicals in household products. But she apparently drove the car to a nearby store, bought a can of RAID ant-killer, and then doused the car interior so heavily she got lightheaded from the fumes, even driving with the window down. 

Then sprayed the car again with eucalyptus oil, then had a "space-clearing" ceremony with the kids after I brought them home, walking in circles around the car ringing a bell and giving "positive affirmations". To the car.
Granted, she's had the car less than 18 months and already had two major wrecks and now this. So I guess this is the Unitarian equivalent of an exorcism.

Still....so happy to be out of THAT marriage.
