Yeah. In Michigan it's been 90+ degrees for a couple of weeks now. I just looked at the weather and the projected high for Tuesday is 99 degrees. The hell!? This IS Michigan, right? I didn't accidentally move to Arizona?

It actually hit 112 here for an hour a few days ago. Fucking heat wave is insane.

I would not run. That's some serious damn heat.

Scary thing is, it's still June (even if it is the very end of June). Typically July and early August are the hottest parts of the year. Combine that with the fact that we were hitting 80s, almost 90 at the beginning of March....yeah. Summer is going to melt us a new one this year. Which, in turn, makes me a bit apprehensive about the hurricane season this year. That's a LOT of thermal energy getting stored up in the ocean.

It is currently 115 degrees in Death Valley. That is just straight up kill-you-dead temperature.

Five years ago, it hit 129 in Death Valley.

Urgh...humidity is creeping up as it gets later in the day. 42% now, which gives us a heat index around 113F. They're not calling for any storms today, which means the ones tomorrow should be impressive to say the least.
