Quite Very Really Much Greater Than Usual Cold Resistance.
Where in the name of Blizz is that mouthful of an enchantment? You know its in this book, and you need it to get in there and tear apart the Blacksmith's. He was obviously a magic-user, and that meant he had alchemy reagents (probably). Possibly very powerful ones. At the very least you could steal his equipment and use it for something.
Screw it, you've sat in this little room far long enough. enough castings of cold resistance will eventually get to the same level of cold-proofing.
...
Note to self: Whatever this spell was, it makes the area TOO DAMN COLD! Even with the magic equivalent of 50 layers of clothes on your Cryomantic self is still feeling cold! F!
You hold your crysteel sword with both hands, having left the staff at home because its effect wouldn't help at all. Somewhat tired after casting cold resistance a lot, you shatter what was formerly the toughest wall in town, which was as brittle as the ice encasing it now. stupid-cold air blasts out, like in all the houses you looted for foods, and you step in. you see a lump sticking out of the ground, probably the mayor. you cold blast the snow off of him, and aren't surprised when he looks no different than before. You'll pick him up (if possible) on your way out, at least one person should have a proper burial from this town. You kick the back wall, but it doesn't shatter. You slice it, its barely scratched. you cold blast it, nothing happens.
Goddamnit, Blacksmith! what the hell did you need a mage wall for?!
wait.
mage wall. not reinforced wall. a plain metal sword might work, it lacks magic. better yet, a hunk of metal. you cold blast the entire room, uncovering everything. picking up a hunk of metal of the floor after slicing it from the floorboards, you heave it at the wall, and it breaks.
Alchemist's Pot. pyroagents, cryoagents, reactives. stabilizers. Advanced Metamancy equipment.
Jack-friking-pot! WOO!
wait. a glowing leather bag? whats this doing here? you stick your hand in it and...
a Bag of Holding. How had you not felt The Blacksmith's Power when you shook hands? he was obviously a powerful, high-ranking mage.
You put everything possible into the Bag. then you tie it to you belt, and haul the Metamancy equipment as hard as you can, but it refuses to budge.
No! you are NOT leaving this here! you cold blast the floor around it until you find the lock. its not there, but the metal is now really shiny from that sandblasting effect you just caused. just a blue lock shape on one of the corners. Well, permalock or not, you are getting this stuff. so, you pull your sword out and slice of that leg of the table off. you grab it before it touches the ground, and the blue glow fades from the equipment. you again haul on the stuff, this time it moves. you put the mayor (and his piece of flooring) on top of it and dash for the gates (and your room) as fast as a unfit mage can haul.
