I cant believe my turn is next, when I asked for turn I still had many weeks of vacation left and that time feels so distant now.

good luck with that. Whatever you do, DO NOT attempt to comprehend the pathing :P Just assume that the dorfs may be able to make it there.

But that's the first thing I was going to do...
I was planning to dedicate my turn to understand and map FailCannon and the way it works. Or doesn't work, to be precise

Do not attempt to understand,  as the only thing that lies with that knowledge is madness. Gaze long into Failcannon, and Failcannon gazes into you.

And when they found Johuotar, weeks later, half-starved and stark raving mad, their chambers looked like this.

Demonic symbols engraved on all surfaces, images of pagan deities in guises of ordinary creatures, depictions of horrifying past events... Looks like a normal engraved room in any dwarf fortress.  How exactly does it link to Johuotar being mad?

Humans don't like Failcannon much. Too many kobolds, they say. They didn't even stay to trade last time.

Anyway, I wasn't able to play yesterday due to certain problems, so I'll try to play it today.

EDIT: found out why FBs are in the party house: turns out the path to the surface is blocked (still doesn't explain why they don't destroy all the doors and statues around them). I'll leave a note at the proper spot in case anyone wants to get to them.

So, gentledwarfs, we have a problem.

Boozedwarf has just killed Scaraban, and I simply can't find his name on the slab list to stop the murders.

Boozedwarf has just killed Scaraban, and I simply can't find his name on the slab list to stop the murders.

Sometimes if a nickname is entered through Therapist it doesn't carry over to all possible places (for instance, notice how sometimes a named dwarf will appear unnamed in a family member's thoughts screen). One of these places is the slab name list.

You can find him in the unit list and go to nickname him, but press enter instead of actually changing the name. This usually fixes the problem with dwarves not displaying proper nicknames in spots.

He can also simply not be there which is also a common problem.
