I didn't realize I could wield a large greatsword, that's actually pretty cool.  I'll change the sheet and we'll see what happens.

So more anime douche than Tryndamere.

Yes, -2 to attack, but who cares if you're doing massive damage anyway?

Now take my suggestion about changing out that amulet for a nerveskitter 5/day thing :P

How long does Nerveskitter last?
One round, so basically one encounter. But you can't actually USE the amulet anyway.

EDIT: By the way, anybody else think we should have some kind of way of contacting eachother outside of the forums? Just in case they go down again or something. Steam, email, whatever else you can think of.

Good idea, if anyone is on steam I am Criptfeind, feel free to friend me to ask me to friend you. If you guys want I can make a group, and I will PM you guys my email.

How long does Nerveskitter last?

I think thought it is immediate-action instant.

Hum, how would that work? By the time he could activate it, it would be too late.

How long does it really take to shout out a command word? Damn, standard action... That is ridiculous.

Just make it "use-activated" then for an extra 200 gp. Make it so that it "detects when conflict is near" or something.

My email's on my profile, Steam is ECrownofFire.

Two-handed power attack for two is worth 4 points of damage and can be turned off, monkey grip greatsword from medium to large grants 3.5 damage and turning it of is a little dubious, potentially you could have a magic weapon growing or shrinking according to your whims, but you may find it almost impossible to use the feat at all, depending upon how your D.M. interprets things... Take power attack first. You may be able to convince your D.M. to create an exotic greatsword, call it serrated or something, should increase damage to the next die, 2d6 doesn't really have an established next die but 2d8 would seem possible, or maybe it would just be 2d6+1... Power attack sets the going rate for attack bonus loss to damage increase, medium sized greatsword wielding monkey grip is a bad deal unless you intend to spend all of your base attack bonus on power attack.

And what I meant by wasted criticals has nothing to do with confirmation. if you only hit on an eighteen then there is no advantage to having a weapon that threatens on a 15. Threats are not automatic hits. Generally if you are rolling high enough to threaten then you are not going to miss, so wide ranges are wasted less than high multipliers, but against very high ACs or if you are heavily lowing your attack bonus to overcome damage reduction or something, then a wide threat range can be completely wasted...

I am not talking about a size increase, I am talking about a proficiency increase. Longswords, for example, go from 1d8 to 1d10 when proficiency is increased, or 2d6 if size is increased. Note that I would take the +1 damage from exotic weapon proficiency over the +2.5 damage and -2 attack bonus from size increase. But I don't feel that either is worth a feat for the damage alone...

Since when did proficiency give you increased damage?

Since it meant that you were wielding an exotic weapon that was identical to a martial weapon except for name and damage dice.

Ah, 2d6 becomes 2d8 then.

There is a "Fullblade" from Sword and Fist that's exotic 2d8 19-20/x2 slashing.

Or if you're feeling froglike, the Bladed Gauntlet is 1d4 17-20/x2.

I think I'm just gonna switch that feat out for something else.  I was pretty sure Power Attack had more value for my loss of attack, and yeah.
