The stuff that gets the heaviest rotation for me is probably Soundgarden (i'm a huge Chris Cornell fan)

Audioslave?

Absolutely. Although while I really dig what they put out, it's not quite as trippy or dark as some of the stuff on Superunknown or Down On The Upside.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with you there.  While there are a number of Audioslave tracks that I quite enjoy, I still prefer Soundgarden.  Euphoria Morning has got some good bits on it too, all Cornell in his good days.  The solo stuff he did more recently however...

Well, we don't talk about that.

The Aquabats.
Look et up.

Also, "They Might Be Giants" is good too.

I love me some They Might Be Giants, but as favorites go, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones pretty much cover everything I love in music. An experimental, quirky, highly skilled group of Funk/Jazz/Bluegrass/Electronic/World musicians, who attract masterful musicians from all over the world.

That, and Victor Wooten is basically the Final Boss of Bass Guitar.

Ah yes. They're a pretty big facet in my playlist alongside Reel Big Fish and Streetlight Manifesto.

So yeah, my favorite stuff is Ska but also a lot of stuff from the Australian Indie scene during the 90's and early 00's.

Now, see, I've never really trusted people who say this.  I just assume that they haven't listened to enough music yet to find out what it is they don't like.  If you really do have a wide assortment of tunes you enjoy, great for you...  Gotta be awesome to absorb that much music.

Les Claypool disagrees.
Claypool has got some awesome solos, but the rest of the songs are just waaay too weird for me to listen to them.  I still like listening to the solos.  He also has cool hats, which is something I can dig.

The South Park tune always ends up sticking to my brain though...

I like lots of music. Some people have told me I've got unusual tastes, but I know what I like. Music from before my time often suits me better than the more modern. Unusually I like a fair bit of what my parents listen to.

Recently I've been listening to a lot of minimal dance music mixed by a friend (got really sick of the more mainstream stuff). Otherwise it's been The Stranglers, Dead Kennedys, X-Ray Spex, Kaya Project, Leftfield, Perc, Nirvana(more punk than I expected, must be the mood I'm in).

Man, Motoring by The Who is by far THE best song. Ever. In my opinion, of course.

I'm gonna go with Geezer Butler on this one. No, I'm not linking you. You're already on the internet.
