The derivative of e^1/x2 is 2e^1/x2/-x³. The derivative of 1/x is 1/-x²
2e^1/x2/-x³*-x²=2*e^1/x2/x

Looking at the limits (infinity/+-infinity) of that function at +-0 you arrive at the positive and negative values of infinity.

So yeah, you took the derivative of e^1/x2 wrong.

I have a good idea of how much he officially makes. Public institution and all that, so the records of his salary are public, and a bit of digging turns up a maximum of what his bonus could potentially have been. Not to go into too many details, since my meatspace identity and all, but 1% of his bonus couldn't be more than $5000, and his salary only slightly more than doubles that.

Of course I don't know about his income from other sources, which I'd wager is substantial, but that's a different thing.

MY computer came with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel built in, but it did not come with Powerpoint. I tried opening Microsoft Office to see what it could do, and it pretty much did nothing but ask me to feed it cash. Now I'm either going to have to cough up 100 bucks for a four year old product or try and do my assignment on school time.

Hrnnn. Though I do have to consequentially link you to Libreoffice, for... reasons I've actually forgotten. Something nasty I'm forgetting the details of went on with Open Office, and Libre forked from it sans whatever that scruff was. More or less the same thing, just not connected to whatever it is that owns OO nowadays.

Think there's actually one or two more major FOSS office suites like that running around, actually. It's honestly kinda' neat, the history and whatnot that's been going on with those projects. Or I remember it being neat the last time I looked into it, and have since forgotten all details.

So I had to fill out a questionnaire about myself for Life Orientation. Nothing unusual about it, though I dislike it. But then?

They marked it. They decided that they needed to assign a mark to my life!
Tell me, lady, when did you become God that you feel it is your place to judge the lives of others? What happens if you give an autistic kid or mentally challenged kid 4/10 because they aren't capable of doing things you feel they 'should' do? What happens then is an angry parent launches a lawsuit and you lose your job, and good riddance.

I am not amused. Not quite to the point where I feel a need to make a complaint, but they had better not pull this sort of stunt again.
