Killed 3 titans. Am the ruler of an abandoned town. Had someone move in within 2 days. My 2 companions keep telling me a gang of bandits is terrorizing the town and telling me the name of a goblin they both saw me kill 3 weeks ago.
"A bandit gang led by Damsto Drillthief has been harassing people on the street!" "Can you tell me where I can find the goblin Damsto Drillthief?" "The goblin Damsto Drillthief is dead." A minute later "A bandit gang led by Damsto Drillthief has been harassing people on the street!" I am starting to worry about him.

I became a goblin, I journeyed far away from my home to claim a hamlet. After claiming I retired and then immediately started playing again, the hamlet now had towers and trenches, interesting. C: What I shall do now I do not know. probably die.

It's monsoon season, so I can't anything to burn, even if I put a campfire over it. On the plus side, I can jump or dodge right into the fire without setting off all my lignite jewelry. Enemies stop approaching if you're standing on a fire, and won't charge if they're in an adjacent tile. If there's enough smoke, you can move around in it without them detecting you for awhile, even if they have 360 vision and unlimited Observation. I don't know how to exploit that without standing in a fire, though. Standing in a clear tile on the opposite side of a smoke tile isn't enough to do it.

So currently in my Jacket playthrough I chuck loads of guards into other guards, and giving biker a chest filled with loot 257 dwarfpounds of loot, so far the only unique kills was when I toss: a maceman in pitchdarkness and found out he survived from slamming into a child, from an open door toss a guard into a gobbo killing both, watching a pikeman run past me only to be toss into a wall. Trees starting to look like target practice, and everybody's darts.

I like using it for mooks, fitting to have a goddestroying dorfmachine casually fling you out of her way as she pursues her quarry. Wish I could attack in mid-air, fling someone, jump after them, punch them in the soul in mid-air.

I almost had something like that happen, Biker smack someone so hard they went flying and I was about to toss a guy and thought this was a prime chance to see what would happen if 2 guys interconnected, ended up the person biker smack with the chest stop 1 tile away from the path the guy I thrown went and just straight up over shot it.
now.  also throwing pretty good when you end up fighting someone reanimated mangled skin(like full body skin not a piece) and you are not in the mood to fighting stuff that's 10 times faster and stronger than you.
just imagine how much fun it would be throwing bogeymen into other bogeymen.

I am just beating things to death with a bow as a peasant now. "The iron bow has lodged firmly in the wound!"

I also did that to a goblin settlement. By the way, has anyone ever actually managed to "rescue" anyone abducted? Seems like by the time I get to anyone, they have no interest in coming back. Sometimes they shoot me. Doesn't help that they report 34 year old abductions as current events.

I did once, I got lucky as they were both young, it seems.

This was in my playthrough where I modded in intelligent dragons and conquered the same human civ (as a "true" dragon adventurer) I was rescuing them on the behalf of. And then when I found the only relative they knew to suggest I bring them too, goblin bandits had JUST arrived to wreck the place, and their...aunt I think, was already did. ;w;

I rescued someone, but it wasn't because I was on a mission to. He just happened to be in the fortress, and rioting trolls deconstructed the door. I don't really care for the escort quest, but at least he stayed put when I needed him out of the way.

I have saved hundreds of children, perhaps to atone for what I do to elves in my worlds.

Reading Rums post made me realize there is a reason he went with job.hunt_target rather than something else, you can fling someone past you and attack them as they go by, or fling them vertically while attacking them.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

By the time I got bored that forest retreat was littered with bodies and heads that were nowhere near where they should have been.

By bored I mean "ran out of elves and tree-living goblins and humans", for the record.

uppercutting people into tree is fun.

so I found then skinned this tiger to make a mock tony mask, then met a dwarf queen who reanimated it, I got pissed off and chuck the skin at her but she dodged out of the way leading me to chuck lemurs at her. finally caught up to her and attempted to juggle her into her reanimated minions but that idea kinda fell apart. kinda wonder how insane having a mod that turns blood into acid as an interaction if you gib someone.

There are two necromancer's towers here, but neither of them is actually within an evil biome. Fortunate, since smashing zombies with a hammer is time-consuming enough to permit them to rise again before they're cleared. I got hammer skill up to legendary quickly and it still took too long to kill, especially the ones with invincible skulls. I figured that if you bash them in the head and their skull doesn't display when you look at them, the only way to kill them in one piece is to crush their torsos -- even more time-consuming, but cutting them off is even worse if they get raised again.

I used campfires for crowd-control, but still haven't figured out how to take advantage of the smoke without requiring fire immunity. Experimented with ways to ignite my lignite. Holding magma in both hands didn't light the rings on my fingers, but it did get rid of the fat remaining on them. Putting a lignite scepter on a campfire didn't make a torch, it made instant ashes. Dammit, that was a masterwork:(  Next time I'll try filling a mug with magma to see if I'll have an endless fire supply.

Adventurer Mode: Honestly, setting it on fire seemed like the best idea at the time.

Now, taking full plate parkour dorfs to a new level:

I had an amusing start in my world, I started in a hamlet as part of a bandit group, or something, and its quite large, in the hamlet they live in most buildings have multiple soldiers, and every hamlet nearby is in ruins, they are the band of murders, I freaking love these people, normally I kill just about everyone, but these people, they can live. Long live the cause.

Just for you, found a criminal town, went to chuck the lady into the air, gob tried to attack me, kid attacked it, so I flung the gob at the lady:

So then I claimed the site and asked about it, turns out the priest guy was next in line so I figured I'd have to bounce them off the ceiling to gain control, but apparently simply having them leave the same z-level is sufficient:

I then began trying to juggle him with the kid who came to his aid (the rest ignored what was going on), to... decent success:

Walked into a wall of dragonfire and got all the symptoms of being engulfed in flame without the bleeding and melting. Nothing in my inventory was affected, but anything in my hands was. Except for the lignite. I picked up a few pieces of leather and fiber clothing off the ground and they caught fire, but I took out a mug and it didn't. I dropped it on the ground and picked it up again, still didn't light. Were these trinkets just a waste of time? I found out you could use careful move to get around while on fire, but that's not as quick or as funny as jumping around.
