I met the queen of my civilization. in 139, her eldest son died of OLD AGE.

How old IS this woman!? It's only 150, but for her son to die of old age before her would imply she's well inside the range of death by old age as well.

Oh, she's a vampire. That explains everything!

Killed three dusk horrors (the horror himself, and two mates) and I drowned on the way back cause I had to cross a river to reach town or likely die by nap-time ambush.

Oh gods! I wandered my way over to a tomb, revealed the area with DFhack to get a screenshot, travelled away, came back, and started exploring it, and soon the resident mummy came a-runnin' to slaughter my companions. I think it may have had something to do with my revealing the area...

The mummy isn't hostile to me for whatever reason, but won't talk to me anyway... In fact, neither will the undead...

Edit;

I just wandered myself over to the adjacent necromancer tower and had a chit-chat with one of the necromancers there. A kobold, due to my own modding preferences, but regardless of that fact they're normally quite hostile to me.
The kobold necromancer even gave me a QUEST!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Figured it out yet again;

I'm a vampire...

BOOO HOOO! My evil mist thrall was diving through the oceans and at the break of dawn was crushed by collapsing ice. :( Now I'm sad.  Sixhundred eighty four notable kills! Devourer of all (accessible) Law-givers, Lords etc.! one hundred fifteen other kills!

Rest in peace(s), my dear Urist Sillikot Oshotnanir, "Urist Planeinks the Vanished Rhyme"!

So, what to do? Make another adventurer and look, what happened to the world afterwards...

"Can Kutsmob Pimplehate save the world?" was a legendary bone-bound book. The written portion consists of a 30 page essay entitled "Can Kutsmob Pimplehate save the world? authored by Kutsmob Pimplehate. It concerns the giving up on being a fishery worker of the goblin necromancer Kutsmob Pimplehate in Bristleseductions in 29. The writing has its moments of cleverness.

Made an adventurer.
Asked for a quest.
There is a vampire in this hamlet whit over 600 kills.
Also, i found a bowman, so i took him whit me.
LETS DRINK SOME VAMPIRE BLOOD, BITCHEZ!

EDIT:
Acused him, the thresher in the house whit him and my bowman cornerd him, so i quickly snuck in for some vampire blood.
I think he'll be dead soon enough.
EDIT:
Killed the vampire and hopefully leveld up a bit in swordskill.
Drunk his blood, and aquired a bronze boning knife and two silver arrows.

EDIT:

Oh lol, after a rampage trying to advoid rivers i killed a cyclopse and got shot in the head from behind by a goblin archer.
Anyway, i'm all like mhh.
I go into adventure mode, and i find my adventurer
human FEMALE vampire
XD

The related entities is one big herospam.

'in the midsummer of 125, Miauw Mopelders The Tactical Fords was shot and killed by (goblinname) by a copper arrow from a copper crossbow'
sigh.

Oh, i see now, im kind of a hero of all civs, even the goblin civ that lives on the island whit only a elven civ and that goblin civ where noone can come.
wut.

Finally managed to become a werebear (after two unsuccessful attempts... in one the werebear tore me to pieces and in the other I accidentally fatally counterattacked it).  In the fight that worked it tore my left lower arm off in its mouth and stole my waterskin.  Fortunately since it's the night of the full moon I got to heal.  I though I'd leave this werebeast around for future adventurers, but it turns out he's clasping onto this waterskin pretty tight.  I guess it's time for some bear vs bear action.

I started an ogre adventure (I'm playing my mod, Savages' Stronghold), and, hoping to find a vampire to kill, entered a town. My first warning that something was off was the pack of tame dogs running at me.

I killed the dogs (they bit me first!), started to wander away, got attacked by another dog, butchered it, took the meat, and decided to find a shield or something.
Guess what? The town was a minotaur town.
Well, after killing a few minotaurs that I recognised from my previous, minotaur adventurer, I had some purloined trophies from the victims (not all, just the coolest. Also a gem-encrusted bone bracelet my previous adventurer had sold). Then I wandered away, towards the temple. I reversed direction after hearing some religious leader tell me to prepare to die, but that was more because I noticed a dwarven merchant from the market to the south coming for me. I threw a dog corpse at its right foot, causing said merchant to pass out from pain due to a broken ankle. I'm currently beating up another dog, having thrown another dog corpse and its own left front paw at it.

Did I mention that I'm a wrestler? Or that I intend to sneak into a necromancer's tower to learn the Secrets of Life and Death? I've stocked back up on dog corpses, so I should be good for now.

Well I managed to wipe out a necromancer tower in bear form and in the process acquired necromancy for myself.  I don't like raising corpses that much but I really like not having to eat or drink.

Incidentally, add "coral" to the list of "bad things to make titans out of".  I could hit its feet or mandibles even with "Can't quite connect" and sever them.  I then smacked it in the body, repeatedly "fracturing" it for XP until I felt sorry for the shattered, footless, mandibleless creature and cut its head off (after shattering it a few times of course).

Thrun Blazedcrows' life has been pretty awesome so far.

I set out to reach a fortress I had built in fort mode for all my adventurers. It was a 3-day trip along the river, through much jungle to reach it.

I quickly run out of food because of oversleeping. I go off the beaten track to find some mobile grub, and happen upon a pack of warthogs. I try my best to sneak up on them, but they see me and scatter. I toss my bronze dagger at one but miss, and as I go to pick it up....I notice a herd of elephants practically on top of me. One of the females starts to charge and there's no way I can get away. So, I throw my dagger again..

And some how drop the elephant to the ground with a bone chip. I realize this is probably my one chance to secure victory in this fight, so I dive on the elephant and start wailing on it. I gouge its eyes and stab and slash the beejesus out of it. The whole elephant herd stands there while I effectively live butcher their matriarch for over an in-game hour, but I guess the savagery of my attack was such they didn't feel like intervening. Covered in elephant blood and vomit, bursting with elephant meat, Thrun leaves the kill site happy and full.

Continuing on I happen to find a lair outside a major city and promptly kill the snake man inhabitant, who after the elephant isn't much of a challenge. I stop off in the near by town, report my success and have a well-earned rest. In the morning I continue traveling, when a few hours laterl I hit a large fork in the river that I need to cross.

Upon entering the area, I realize it's a giant waterfall emptying into two canyon-like rivers. After convincing myself that leaping into the falls and committing suicide isn't a heroic way to approach things, I begin swimming the river near the falls.

Mortal terror grips me as, about 70% of the way across I suddenly begin being drawn towards the falls. I struggle and come within two tiles of the extremely fast current part of the river, but eventually manage to throw myself up the bank on the other side. Winded but alive, I continue on my way....when I notice something emerge out of the river behind me. A crocodile! Thinking he'd have an easy meal either in or out of the river, I quickly show it the error of its ways.

The last leg of the journey to Bom Obur is a half day's trek along an inter-jungle highway. Thinking this to be the easiest part of the trip, I speed along. But it isn't long before I'm accosted by nature's jungle bandit, the cheetah. But not just one cheetah. Over the course of the half day journey, I battle no less than 15 cheetahs, each of which waits behind a tree near the highway, springing out to ambush me as I walk by. Long has this highway been a place of death and woe for travelers, but no longer! The threat posed by cheetahs is significantly diminished after the journey of Thrun Blazedcrows.

At last, I reach Bom Obur, the Home of Heroes, and find several dwarves still in the fortress, ostensibly preparing to make the journey back to the mountain home. I question exactly what the reasoning is for leaving behind a 3-year-old child and a cripple, but I figure the dwarves have their own system worked out, it must be for the best.

Soon, after some mandatory cleanup and re-organizing around the fortress, Thrun Blazedcrows will begin cleansing the jungle surroundings of the foul beasts that plague it.

I dont think that its a good idea to bring dog corpses to a necro tower.

Started a new hero, with a sword/lasher combo that I'm trying to pull off. I head over to a fortress, pick up a hammerman and a swordsman (who I, for no discernable reason, imagine with an over the top upper class british accent), meet the resident Lady, who for some reason has around 7 children hanging round, and head off the nearest bandit camp, but come across a river. I run ahead, and dive in, to suddenly find messages about my swordsman beating the living crap out of an alligator, and the hammerman holding his ground.

I swim back over, by which time one of the alligators has scored a scratch on the hammerman, so he starts running off. I engage the alligator chasing after the hammerman, keeping him in place so that the swordsman can finish off his, then come help me kill this one. After that, we cross the river to find a rhino standing right next to two alligator corpses, with only a few cuts on him. I have so much newfound respect for and/or fear of rhinos.
