Hello Noble Cousins,

I´m regretfully going to have to abdicate my position as Saladin of house Al-Malik, much sooner than I would have hoped.  The borrowed laptop I´ve been using here in Nicaragua has been more or less requisitioned.  Moreover, the internet has been increasingly spotty and I feel bad about holding up the game any further, so please accept my humble resignation.

Real sorry about leaving the Malik with that Inquisition, though.  I know all of this just smacks of bad form...

Well, okay; not entirely true. I have dabbled with this game, single-player, so I kind of know the basics. It'll be an interesting experience one way or another.

Well, PM your email address to Zorgn, and take a look at the state of the game. Al-Malik is one huge an empire, so it might be too tedious to handle for a neophyte. Or not.
What I am trying to say is, check out the save before deciding if you're willing to commit, I'd hate to see another player drop out just after a few turns.

Hey guys, long tme lurker on the Bay 12 forums.

I absolutely love EoFS, was into it for a year or so about 4 years ago.

I've just recently got back into it, and been playing for a month or so now. 

Of course AI stomp is fun for a while, but then you look for a real challenege... then I found this thread!

If you need someone to step in and take a spot, I would be happy to.

I don't think my email is on this forum account, but if you need someone, let me know and I'll PM the organiser my email addy.

I would be able to play at least a few times a week (it seems from the comments in this thread that would be more than enough.) and I would like to be in for the long haul.

That's actually a modmod, or rather a scenario, for Nova, called Escape From Earth, and it's just started(I can't recollect right now, but I think it's around turn 15-ish). The missing player is probably the strongest too.
If you're interested, go ahead and post in there, we'll take you in right away.
