Nope, they work on pixie dust and the dreams of innocent children.  It sort of gets refined into an industrial slurry.
Don't they know that the dreams of the innocent weakens the metals?  Shoddy design right there.
What has changed in Aurora in the past few months?  I'm getting ready to try playing it again.

Is there any possibility that there was an NPR skirmish or war that the game wouldn't slow down for? I sent 4 scout ships across a jump point and found the wreckage of several "unknown class" ships. Thoughts?
Sometimes wrecks can be generated as part of system generation.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

How would I go about putting automated mines and mass drivers on another planet? I haven't the slightest idea how to put shit on another planet.

Build a ship with at least 5 cargo bays. Multiples of 5 are best. Tell it to load up X building on whichever colony the buildings are on, move to where you want them to go, and unload X building.

Just check that you're expanding a Commercial shipyard, They're a tenth the cost of Military shipyards and a 5,000 ton expansion isn't much to ask for.
As for running out of neutronium, what are you constructing? You could pause anything that is using your reserves while you wait for your shipyard to get upto size.

Yeah I figured that out a while back, not so long after my post. Thanks anyway, though! Now my only problem is that the automated mines are unbearably slow. I'm mining the Venus neutronium deposits at 1 per year. On the bright side, it'll last me 36 million years at this rate...

You need a lot of them to mine in any decent timeframe. A LOT.

What's the accessibility for neutronium on venus? Venus tends to end up with lots of horribly low acc resources but high total quantaties.
Your best bet for minerals is always the comets which have small deposits but high accessability.

Geology teams can increase accessibility if you are lucky.

more n00b questchins plex kthnx. I have a cargo ship stationed on Venus and I've given it orders to return to earth, but it likes Venus so much it's decided to not want to move. It doesn't have any cargo on board so I have no idea what's happening. Ideas?

Did it give you any notifications after you gave out the order and advanced a certain amount of time? Has it got any fuel? Is the ship assigned to a valid task group? Is it still loading/unloading?
