Hide Micropistol somewhere on my person along with a bit of ammo, ready rifle, intently stare at the enemy fort to determine possible weak points or somesuch.

Oh... I was going to say something else at the end, but removed it because it was silly. Didn't take the whole thing out I guess.

Anyway... turn will probably be up this weekend. Long time, I know, but it looks like this week will be very busy. I might get it up sooner, but don't count on it.

Mercenary RTDX Turn 40: Bomb in place.

Leave 3 of the mortar shells with Rodrick, then rig the last two into a make-shift bomb.  Give bomb to whomever wants to sneak up to the wall, and give them instructions on how to place it for maximum damage.
You take two of the shells and wire them together (8+1) then cannibalize an old radio to make the detonator.

Item: Crude Mortar Bomb
+1 to Explosives


So I assume that we are going the brute force approach?

Suggest that they spread the artillery all around the front.
Take a smoke. and keep my eyes trained on the castle.

You radio the incoming army and warn them about the anti-artillery. (1+2) You try to observe the fortress but end up dozing off from the midsummer heat.

I keep watch over whoever is sneaking up, and if a firefight starts, shoot at the enemies.[/b]
You keep an eye out for anyone who might spot your allies (11) You keep observing the situation.
We still have out handsets right?
Is there any cover between us and the fort (Bushes, tall grass, rocks, etc.)?
Also which direction is the army coming from?

I'll take the bomb and plant it on the opposite side of the fort from the army's direction of approach. I'll need Derm or someone with a Scope/Binoculars to radio me the patrols positions so I can move without being seen.

If no one has objections that will be my next action, as Frelock still needs to make the bomb. For now, I'll scout out the area to find suitable cover locations.
You begin sneaking from bush to bush, tree to tree, with Cheddarius' assistance. (11+2) He helps you move around without being seen. You head to the south wall and rig the explosive, because I can totally make turns work that way. Also, 1 1/2 hours is a long enough time.

+ 3 to Stealth

Stick with the main group and give an inspiring speech to prepare us for the battle.
You suddenly realize you're not at the fort at all. Instead, you're back with the main army, inspiring the troops. (7) You try to encourage them about the upcomming fight, though it doesn't seem to help much...

You begin trying to conceal your micropistol and then search for enemy weak points. (8) You are unable to determine anything useful.

You look for places with good cover but a good view of the fort. (11) You find an outcropping of trees to the west that can do just that.

So... do you guys just want to fast forward to the battle? Doesn't look like you have m(any) preparations to do, and I don't want to force you guys to do anything you don't want to.

Okay, I get into position at the outcropping of tree's, and then once the attack starts, aim for the anti artillery.

I'll hide a safe distance away from the bomb and make sure it detonates on time.

We want to detonate it just before the Army gets here to they will be focused on the rear of the fort and not the front.
