I'd supp0ort starting the battle now.
Yeah I'll push fowards with the troops firing and helping anyone who falls down.

Okay, I get into position at the outcropping of tree's, and then once the attack starts, aim for the anti artillery.




I'll hide a safe distance away from the bomb and make sure it detonates on time.

We want to detonate it just before the Army gets here to they will be focused on the rear of the fort and not the front.
Ok, we can do this.

Help Roderick with the mortar.

keep watch on anti-artillery for attacks of opportunity, and watch for any weaknesses in walls.

Not much else I con do.

Turn 41: The Siege


I'd supp0ort starting the battle now.

You join up with the main army and advance on the fortress. (11+3) Along the way several infantry are wounded, and you assist in bandaging their wounds.

+4 to Medicine


Okay, I get into position at the outcropping of tree's, and then once the attack starts, aim for the anti artillery.
Ok, we can do this.

Help Roderick with the mortar.
You help Roderick aim the mortar. (10) You provide a +2 circumstance bonus.

With the main army starting their attack, you aim for the anti-artillery. (11+2+2) The mortar hits the northwestern tower, damaging it and destroying one of the guns.

+3 to Siege Engineering

You wait until you see the advancing army, and detonate the bomb. (9) The explosion severely damages the rear fortress, though they soon realize the bomb for what it was and focus on the advancing army.

You cover the army, looking for good targets. (14+2) You aim at the two gunners on the northeastern tower and snipe them both.

+6 to Sharpshooting

I try to snipe the people manning the gun at the south west gun. The less anti-artillery, the better.

Attack the rear anti artillery, if I can reach them.

If I can't, focus on inflicting casualties.

Focus fire on those gunners, you need to keep those guns down. You should send a few people around the back to see if they can storm the walls there as well, probably people like S.K Ren and Errol as well as possibly a few troops from the army. Best to put the bomb damage to good use.

Umm, I thought I was hiding near the bomb in case it didn't go off, like just around the West side of the fort.

I'll cover the hole we blew in the fort while who ever decides to go that route get's there.
