When relationships are discussed on the internet, it inevitably goes where it went in the Twilight thread.

The only way to prevent it is to not bring up relationships.

Eh, no, I find that the B12 forums are a lot more jumpy about relationships than anywhere else on the Internet. We just have a much higher amount of teenagers here.. once people get in their 20s they handle all that relationship stuff much more maturely.

These forums do disappoint me a bit sometimes. The forum seems to be degrading, but I'd agree with Maggarg though.. it's just until the next version is out. We've got a lot of people just sitting here.. waiting.. wishing for the next version. Till then, a lot of us who stopped playing DF are just pulling up a seat and chatting about random stuff. And more of the people from the upper forum are going to drift down here while they wait.

Actually, I still prefer this place to the rest of the internet. We might be acting up now, but we're nowhere near as completely stupid as other forums. Only Brass Goggles ever surpassed this place in maturity, but some people there were retired steam enginbeets

Almost all of us joined this forum for DF and Df seems to attract those who either love it utterly, everyone else can't get into it. We all love DF or at least the majority does. Listening to the dev log, most of us are getting so excitded we cannot wait to play this game, and when it comes out I think pretty much the lot of us will, for ages.

Considering all that, how likely is it that we just stay down here and don't share our experiences or ask questions? From 2D to 3D we've been doing this and I see no reason it'll stop with the next version.
