My girlfriend is being sad and suicidal and won't talk to me. I tried calling her but her phone is off. I want to to drive over there to try and help, but that will just make things worse with her mom. :'(

Her mom sucks. End of story.
And she can't have her debut because her mom doesn't think it's worth the effort.

Truean herself has been really polite about the request and I hope that nobody quotes her.  It's a small thing which means a lot.

If she's feeling suicidal, you should call the hotline. They'll have advice.

I know she won't kill herself, but she wants to hurt herself. And I can't go over there because she'll get beaten by her mom when I leave.

Still, call for advice. There are hotlines for this. You may be able to get outside help in a way that does not create further problems.

I think that I have been severely struck by depression.
It's difficult to work up the motivation to even move my fingers the slightest amount it takes to write this, and my eyes keep de-focusing, although that happens quite a bit.
I just want to collapse somewhere, and cry and not move.

I need to stop coming to this page. Too many sads, and I just had a... fucking weird fight with my wife, because I'm stupid and she's not good at telling me off.

Also depression nonsense reminding me of my complete worthlessness. Which probably means I'll either not sleep, or sleep like shite.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Machismo and me wouldn't be seen dead together. I'm pretty much a generic nerd, just with less skill at maths and more skill at being a snarky bastard.

I just feel awful and twisted up inside. I just can't explain why. I suppose, on some level I know why, but I can't explain it. It's outside my ability.

All of my roomates now know I practically live on this board.
I'm starting to get paranoid about whether or not they're lurking here and reading me gripe about them.
(to my credit, nothing I gripe about, I haven't already griped about to them in person. I'm honest, if a jerk)

Are you being a jerk to have gripes? Naaaah... unless your gripe is "they continue to draw breath" or some such.

Grandfather died last night. I guess it was probably for the best, as his memory was going in the past few months and he had trouble breathing. I just wish I got to see him before.
