Anything north of the Mason-Dixon Line is a lost cause.
Yes, but that's true all year round.  :P

Spoiler: Canadian cold (click to show/hide)
Those poor dinosaurs. Frozen in place where they stood.

They say that they're too sick to do it, so I have to do it myself. And me pointing out that I don't have the energy for it means nothing, because it "needs to be done", and clearly, they can't do anything about it, so it's my fault.
Mate, it sounds a little like you've gotta sprinkle some cement on your cheerios and be d' man o' d' house.

The snow is so bad here that our Walmart is closed.
Nevermind I take back everything.

It's 3am and I have to get up in three hours for a math exam and the entire fucking fire department is busy producing decibels in the house next door. Dear neighbors please choose a more convenient time and date for your next emergency thank you.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
