I was going to spend an awesome day at the beach today. Then I realized: oh yea, tropical storm. Curse you, merciful Poseidon!

So we're sawing up a tree we cut down last week to keep it from falling into our house when the hurricane hit. The "hurricane" turned out to be a minor storm for us, but it was a good thing to do anyway, that tree was going to fall over sooner or later, and it was leaning towards the house in a dangerous fashion.
Why is this a sad thing? Because it is SO FRIGGING HOT right now. I wrenched my arm trying to start a chainsaw, we've gotten about halfway through chopping the tree, but we've caught a break because we had to stop on account of no longer having any fuel for the chainsaws. I also didn't get much sleep last night. It's my own fault since I stayed up until 4:30 in the morning writing, I was on a roll and didn't want to stop. I only managed 3 pages despite spending about 6 hours writing. I write soooo slow. At the time I thought it was fairly good, but now looking back I see all kinds of awkwardness about it. At the very least it still feels like a bit of an accomplishment.

I should find someone with good English and grammar skills to look it over and tell me all the mistakes I made.

Ears hurt and flashlights start getting annoying.
Bleh, I would completely ignore parties if there weren't some of the few opportunities for contact with friends.

And I'm not even drinking, which makes it all worse...

Discreet earplugs, or a hat, can help with the first problem. I'm trying to work out why there would be flashlights, but it might be a rave so i dunno lol.

If not drinking is making it worse, would drinking make it better?

5 hours' work: notes on 50 pages of Aristotle taken.

Faugh.  Back to work.

It makes the shit I wasn't there for less annoying.
And while I regard most of the Brocode&Co as utter nonsens, todays break of "Bros before hoes" was a bit of a dickmove.
Those one and a half hours were incredibly long...

But whatever, this should last me until the start of university. Hope I can upgrade my social life there.

I find that kind of offensive Max, because it seems like you are suggesting to just gas the man. The same way that Nazi Germany gassed several thousands. Even if its a joke..

I just find what you just said to be in really bad taste.

More Aristotle.  At least I've finally gotten to the part about equity and natural vs. state law.

I am posting here because otherwise my reading will drive me completely and entirely insane, especially because I'm probably barely going to be sleeping for the next two or three days.

And because Aristotle, though being a pretty clever guy with some interesting ideas, my limit is just mostly converging on exhausted.

Maybe all I'm doing is posting here less, but it's working out quite well thus far.  I can tell that the break from VCaRPRG (Vallhalla Carp Propulsion-Rocket Grenade!) is doing me a lot of good.

You know, it astounds me how one simple occurrence can just ruin my whole day. And well I'm immediately just hating today.

I really wish my friends had time to actually spend with me.
