Then you just talk about writing to talk about writing. You don't need to make your own problems you know.

What makes me sad is how much the BLUH CONSOLES stuff on the other games board actively bothers me. They're just a bunch of mouth-breathing morons. Why does their opinion bother me?

What do you mean? Are you talking about the one about Diablo being on a console or something?

All of them. Just that general attitude bugs me. I dunno.

I agree with Janet that discussions on Other Games tend to range from bad to horrible when discussing new versions of old games and console games (in other words typical fanboy stuff, so it's not like this is unprecedented).

I'm happy that, in the interim of two months involving my absence, the happy thread's grown by OVER five hundred pages, while the sad thread grew by EXACTLY three hundred.

There needs to be a line chart for this sort of thing or something.

Usually, yeah.  Feel a bit embarrassed about my writing, though.  I feel guilty about sharing crappy stuff.

Oh, well.  Guess I've got to just keep working at it.

Look at it this way.  I'm embarrassed that I've never even made crappy writing to talk about.  Instead I just talk about talking about my crappy writing.  You've actually got something to show for it.

Although the talking about be improved by being able to see what you're talking about.

You did.
And now Steam isn't working again.
The internet has failed to help again thus far, so I guess I'll just have to dig around in my terminal history.

Bleh.

Apparently to keep the pipes from freezing while almost everyone was away on break, the cold water in the pipes has been replaced with hot water. It's not too bad when it comes to drinking, since the water in the pipes is cool enough for a few seconds of water. But for taking a shower, there is now just one temperature; and with almost everyone gone and not using hot water, that one temperature happens to be scalding. This week is going to be smellier than I had anticipated. >_>
