Turned out kitty was hungry so I gave him food and he went away like 7 hours ago.

I believe it's called "Buffy Speak" 

But no, I know how that is, frustrating when you can't get the words right. Especially when you need to make a critical decision in a span of maybe ten seconds, and if you say the wrong answer you get stuck in the friend zone and GAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

And, yeah, when I had that problem my brain was basically rebooting itself. I literally couldn't remember the words that conveyed what I wanted to say. I couldn't even come up with a synonym or anything. I think I could manage filler words, though. Like "I...mean, I..um..." stuff like that.

Freaked the hell out of everyone and worried the doctors quite a bit. Fortunately they didn't find anything actually wrong with me, but I did wonder if I was going to die at one point. Not particularly worried about dying, but very frustrated about the whole deal.
