Midas, really?  Then why the hell do I always remember "Menelaus?"  Hmm... must go study more mythology.  Those damnable kings, always getting mixed up :I

I believe Menelaus was involved in Trojan War.

Nah, I looked that up and saw it--I'm just wondering where I would have gotten a lot of exposure to the name.  I'm actually starting to wonder if the book I originally read the "ass's ears" legend in could have been incorrect, because I think it was one of those "mythology for young readers" books printed in the 1950s or something.  Other than that, I've only read two works on the Trojan war--one for "junior readers" and a French play that never mentions Menelaus.

... It's a mess.

Doesn't sound like you're totally apathetic though, so that's something.

I have 3 papers to get done. One of them involve writing an essay on contracts, and the other two are to be one with a group. One of these two consists of 25 pages, which are to be done by an 8 person group, one of them being myself.

I hate to work with groups which consist of +5 people, it becomes a clusterfuck pretty fast and I can't guarantee everyone will do their part. Whats worse, we have to present it orally by the end of the month, and while I'm actualy a pretty good orator, I'm not so sure about a few group members, and our grades will not be individualized, meaning everyone will suffer for each member's mistakes.

Meh.

After two days of fun and no problems, the first error of my new PC reared its head today. Some crazy issue with the memory, couldn't even get it post until I switched the memory to the (wrong, technically) channels. Now it works as normal again, but my illusion of security and stability has been ruined!

Minor sad: Just had a great MP match of Cortex Command, with some rather entertaining banter... only to find afterward that the audio wasn't working at all.

Sad face. My vanity shall never be sated.

I didn't realize there was supposed to be people talking. I just thought it was gonna be boring vanilla game footage the entire time with the occasional Ameriprise advertisement, so I left.

If you fix the problem though, I'd gladly pay another visit.

There were advertisements? Really? I love Adblock Plus.

But yeah, I visited for a while but got bored because of the lack of sound...

I was reading through my old posts as I've run out of things to do, and I was just reminded that Jackrabbit hates me  :(

The fact the History Channel considers this guy a serious scientist makes me sad.

How high is that man; he looks like he's describing the subway/kfc sandwich he's dying to eat right now. He's talking about the Apocalypse or Jesus isn't he? As if his hand gestures could illustrate it any more clearly.

"So then, get this, Jesus was just all up walking around, right? and the romans got up in his grill and he was all like, 'Whoa, man, this world is everyones,' and the Roman's minds were totally blown and then the jews killed'em. Man, it was so far out..."
