Now I feel out of the loop.
Who was Nolor?  Some kind of troll, I guess.

The Great Toad has spoken!  I wonder how he keeps dodging the bans.

Anyway, I just got back from some college advice stuff.  Planning on WPI college possibly.

Been trying to contact a friend so I can come visit.  I haven't actually called, but I've texted and sent messages on Facebook.  I hate calling, I know it's silly but I hate feeling like I'm interrupting something and I'm always awkward on the phone.  But now it's been a few weeks, and so far, nothing.  Not even from our mutual friends who live in the same area or who regularly talk with him.  I don't know if I've done something wrong, or if AUGH I just don't know.  He and our mutual group of friends are some of the closest I've had to real friends, and losing them over some idiotic squabble would probably rend a large chunk of my peace of mind apart  :'(

edit for good measure: gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaragh.

What's is that guy's even his problem?

Is like heg got broad side school fed up the bone bulge!

Also, I was on TwoCansandString and asked a question and someone, completely non-sequitur, told me this story about himself and two friends.  It was excruciating.  I'm not going to go into details, but all three of them had found various ways to do illicit things to themselves, and all of them backfired horribly.  One ended up having to spend his college fund on surgery, and the storyteller almost died.  The detail he went to explain all of this stuff scarred me forever.  For srs, man.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Wait a minute.  You can identify him?  I thought bans kicked out the whole IP address.
