Phantom, I'm afraid that this isn't a gun-nut oriented story (not that I use gun-nut as an insult). Thus it is a Gun® that works with Bullets® and has a power, caliber, and accuracy determined by the character who's holding it and/or poetic whimsy.

Yeah pretty much every adventure I run is gun-flavored almonds but not this one, for simplicity's sake. The emphasis is on weird puzzle shit, not /k/ommandos.

The spiketrap was re-unretracted when you pushed the button, and the only thing behind it was an alcove containing the scrap of paper with part of the code on it.

A: Explore across the debris in the water

B: Lift the metal sash with the crowbar and get mauled by whatever might be beyond it

C: Check left-hand door in the short hall with the chained doorway on the right

D: Go through Door of Foreboding Feelings of Leaving Something Behind in the room with the mauled scientists.



Are any other options obvious? I say we need to pick A, B, or C and get on with things.
