Phantom, I'm afraid that this isn't a gun-nut oriented story (not that I use gun-nut as an insult). Thus it is a Gun® that works with Bullets® and has a power, caliber, and accuracy determined by the character who's holding it and/or poetic whimsy.

...but if I had to guess, I'd say it's probably a P226 navy- the standard sidearm chosen for hostile environments (by hostile environments, I mean salt air and toxic chemicals, not other bullets). Well, or some generic civilian 9mm that you use to say "I have a gun!".

So anyway. I think we should go grab that drum that was full of blood and wedge the elevator door open on our current floor. Store the drum in the elevator when we ride it and wedge the door open on the new floor. That way we won't be surprised by someone using it.
