Saw Desolation of Smaug. It was pretty awesome, I really liked the movie.

Certain scenes were brilliantly done (barrel blademaster was especially awesome) and I can never get tired of Bilbo's exhasperated expression (the one he makes when he wakes up Smaug is brilliant).

So yeah, definitely go see it guys, I can't wait for the third one.

Hanging around outside Stormwind on my Troll Rogue, cheering at the duelling alliance players is the best thing.
Every time I cheer, a clump of them detach from the bubble and run over to where I am to investigate, at which point I move to another spot and wait.

The greatest adventure music ever. There is nothing that can not be made interesting from that music... Even walking along a linear hallway.

Decided to wrap up my exhausting week by watching 'Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea'. Cute movie. Might make a movie night if I can find a few more good ones in my collection, possibly to share.

EDIT:
Neat, looks like I have tomorrow night's Toonami movie (Summer Wars) in my collection (Last week's was Akira). I get to enjoy watching it without commercials. Plus, that kinda frees up my Saturday night if I watch it now.

EDIT EDIT:
Just freed up my Saturday now, and it's definitely easier to keep track of without commercials in the way. It was okay.

Well I was freaking out over one of my college apps being deferred, but then later in the day it turned out my other choice, which is actually a better school quality wise, admitted me. That turnaround is such a good feeling

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
