I'm sure I would have a similar reaction as him if I could see a goddam thing. And while I do believe not seeing the monster is scarier than having its whole history revealed, the inability to see sort of made me immune to the scare factor.

I seem to go through phases I realize now. I'm going through the total non-violence phase again... Seems around the same time last year it hit me even. And now some things I was complaining about seem to be going away and I'm just left being well. Myself. Not totally happy but I guess I'm starting to understand how I work on the inside again. But for now a lot of my entertainment methods are invalid (due to being too violent) and I just have a few options at this moment...

Don't care about violence in video games at all, that means both sides.  Only extreme gore will turn me off.

I said Railroad Tycoon, not OTTD.  OTTD blows, mostly for that reason.  In RT2, you can run trains on each other's tracks.  And it looks a lot nicer, instead of a reskin of the Rollercoaster engine.
