The main way to be a dick in Railroad Tycoon is the stock market.  The manual explicitly describes it as the tool to screw over other players with, by short-selling their stock and buying controlling interests and crashing minor companies in debt and stuff.  It's pretty entertaining if you can grasp how it works; it just sucks when playing against the AI, because they act instantly and with perfect efficiency.

I enjoy it heavily, but I can't give in and love it until Rich Burlew stops updating like once every other week and starts putting up FYI newsposts before he disappears for a while.

Oh man, I didn't know that.  That sucks hardcore.

I have similar feelings about Erfworld, which was just starting to get good again after a very long slump.  The writer and artist have a lot of important other stuff that got dropped on them out of nowhere, though, it seems.
