A week? A WEEK?!!?! Oh crap. Well, thank goodness I have the next 3 days off after tomorrow then.
The Bloodfist shall rise before then.
I MUST SUCCEED!!!
Anyway, got my paycheck, and after this I should be entirely out of debt. Just as well, I gotta kick my own ass today. Just as I turned on my computer (disconnected from the internet), I noticed that there is an 'Offline' mode to Steam...
Let that soak in for a bit.
...Yeah.
Apparently I was able to play all the games I have downloaded already (and it's nearly the entire list) the whole damn time. And yes, I tested it out just to be certain; even double tapped to be safe. For what it's worth, I'm still not going to use any of the games on Steam as still in compliance to Lent, until Easter, then I can go nuts. For what it's also worth, I think it worked out for the better anyhow. I mean, my nephew learned just as I did about sometimes things not always being available when you wanted it (in sense of gaming for him), and I actually lowered my gaming crave a bit and worked things out for the better as well. And of course, I actually have kept up with my Lenten sacrifice so far; and learning it was available the entire time just solidified "apparently" to "definitely" in regards to sacrifice; so, from unwilling to keeping with it.
And to seal the deal for today; I have been called off an hour early from work, and as it turns out, I'll be duking it out against my brothers online on Starcraft for tonight. Let's hope I can at least last longer than the last match against them. At least this time, I know what I'm supposed to do.
