Also, if everything in the troll's universe is mirrored in the kid's... what about the felt? My guess is that somehow Spades Slick manages to make it through to the kid's universe at some point, probably through whatever he was looking for in the felt's mansion, but that doesn't explain where their doubles are.

Well, there should be 12 exiles in the trolls' world. From the intermission we have the Midnight Crew (4) and the Felt (16 inc. Snowman and Lord English) - thus of known characters, 12/20 are likely to be exiles. Or rather, 11/19, since we know for certain Spades is one. As we haven't seen the trolls' Prospit residents yet, it's possible something happened to them that made them green (hence the Felt). Plus maybe something that also made them obsessed with clocks/time. So I guess Hussie's got a lot to work with while he sorts it out.

True. While that doesn't discount her from being an exile (re: kids' white queen), I remember a recent pesterlog talking about how Spades helped the trolls defeat the Black Queen or something like that so Snowman's probably not one of their exiles.

My guess is the trolls didn't prototype such silly looking stuff, so Spades Slick didn't snap and kill the queen before they found him.
