Strife shouts, trying to make himself heard.


"Are you planning to stop at some point in time? I think that we've cleared the ground zero enough."

[Little]

Little strolls down the streets towards the Italian restaurant, quickly finding a payphone and entering. After a few quick calls and a dozen veiled threats, she comes up with Luke's cellphone number. She enters in another few coins into the slot and taps the keys.

"Hi? Luke? It's Little. Pass me to Strife."

[Luke_Prowler]

Now who could be calling me?

While still skillfully driving the van, Luke answered the ancient mobile phone "hello?" and sure enough it was psycho lady. Luke had to stop himself from freaking out, and asking how she got this number, but he was able to control himself and talk politely (while still dodging traffic, mind you)

"Strife isn't here right now, and I have no idea  how to contact him. What kind of idiot only puts their first name on their business card? There could be hundreds Strife in the  area alone"

There can only be one popped into Luke's mind. Why that old movie line came up he has no idea, but it seem appropriate.

[Strife26]

Bloody Mechanical Contrivances. Why can't they all be the same? This bike isn't too bad I guess, but I'd rather something sturdier. And bulletproof.

[Aqizzar]

"Hey, where ever you wanna stop.  I got nowhere to go until we know where we're going."

Now some blocks from the blastzone with any hint of complicity lost in the panic, Aqizzar pulls the bike over.  The beat up moped was never meant for two large people anyway.

"So waddaya want?  Bite to eat?  Place to hunker?  Phone?  I don't carry no phone.  Anyone who needs to talk to me knows how to reach me."

[Strife26]

"So neither of us has a phone? That's no good, is it? I suppose that we'd best get a hold of the others. How do people normally reach you?"

[Little]

"Fine, then go to this address. The Italian restaurant is at 4420 Paper Street. Funny story about why the street was named Paper Street, but I'll save that for later. It's fairly easy to find. See you there soon! Try to get in touch with Strife somehow."

Little hangs up the the phone and continues walking towards the restaurant.

[Luke_Prowler]

"Alright, see you there" and after hanging up and a quick change to the van (that now read Billing's Lazer Utility), Luke was heading toward 4420 Paper Street. He wondered how the others were. Probably mad that they're stuffed in the back of a van.

[Aqizzar]

"So neither of us has a phone? That's no good, is it? I suppose that we'd best get a hold of the others. How do people normally reach you?"

"By shouting at me.  Anybody who isn't nearby doesn't need to talk to me.  If you got a number to call, I'm sure we can find a pay-phone."

[Strife26]

"You think I'm the sort to pick people's pocket to get their phone number?"

[Aqizzar]

"Well, unless you feel like hunting down every Italian restaurant in the area, I don't know how else you except to find anyone.

I guess that's the plan then?  We'll need some new transportation."

[Strife26]

"I guess that that'll have to do. What would you like to do with this bike then?"
